London exists. Newspapers exist. Railways exist. Baker street exists. Scotland yard exists. And we have first hand written contemporary accounts from Doctor Watson,,, so Sherlock Homes must have existed.
At the time of Jesus, the common practice was to leave the body on the cross after resurrection to allow the body to be eaten by scavengers. This was part of the punishment.
It’s too bad this theologian ,that has dedicated his life’s work to this particular subject, doesn’t agree with a lot of the commenters on this forum. I love this channel! Jacob brings in so many people with different interpretations of scripture, archaeology and the idea of god. I tend to disagree with people like charlesworth ,but I do think it’s valuable to listen to his ideas. There is a certain level of intolerance in the comment section.

Oh so what you found a synagogue from before as you say the time of Jesus and during (just quickly throws that in) the time. So what? You found nothing archeological of Jesus himself. Keep digging

I don't know why Christians do such a poor job of sounding sceptical. He asked even Jakob questions 🤣. The Jews gave the Romans a good run for their money... What kind of Professor is that?
