I was worried about a new lead singer at first. But now, after hearing this and War Eternal, I'm optimistic about the next album for sure :)

I thought Khaos Legions was very disappointing... Do you also realize that 2:27 is almost the same melody as in Night falls Fast.(As stated by Sotos Protos below in the comments) This is not the first time they recycle shit like that. I guess they just need money from blind fanboys :(

I've always been a bigger Agonist fan than Arch Enemy, but I gotta say I'm digging Arch Enemy's new stuff more than Agonist's. I can definitely hear that classical inspiration towards the end too. Can it be June yet?

I completely agree with you ! The Agonist's new stuff sounds like generic metalcore to me, much inferior to "Prisoners". It's mediocre at best and worse than what they did on "Once Only Imagine" (which wasn't bad, but far from excellent).

Being a fan from the 1st album Arch Enemy released with Johan.. I must say that I really enjoy this new song and can't wait until this is released! I'll be getting this album for sure!

Allissa's vocals on the chorus gave me chills. the guitars gave it even more emotion. and the riff in the beginning is so cool!

she's definitely not playing in the same league, Angela was a way better singer ! jk, she's awesome too :D. Saw them live once, with Alissa, and I'm wondering what could be wrong with her, she perfectly fits it. Anyway, I regret her clean vocals sometimes, because it's quite decent :p.

I have never listened to Arch Enemy for the vocals, never cared. Of the three vocalists over the years at least you could understand what Johan was singing. Angela and Alissa....not a chance. As long as Arch enemy sticks with the same style of music, I will continue to listen.

Doro is the best of heavy metal, Angela is the best of melodic death, Alissa is the best of "post"-melodic death (new melodic death metal period), Tarja is the best of symphonic metal, Mallika is the best of brutal death, etc. :) But you can't claim, that there is the one and only best female vocalist in metal period at all, because everyone (in a metal community) listens to different sub-genres of metal and some metalheads likes may not like lyrics that different vocalists sing. For example I like Angela more because when she was a vocalist, Arch Enemy was more about anarchy, rebelion, death and other things, that I like more than nowadays AE theme. Bit still they are great and Alissa is one of the greatest metal vocalists :)

NO CREO que ni angela y mucho menos michael lo permitan aunque alissa tenga la inmensa capacidad de hacer cambio de voces (admirable) no podrá hacerlo en este caso ya que ellos son ARCH ENEMY no THE AGONIST 2.0 y las voces limpias no son para nada su estilo... si lo hacen en mi opinión la cagaran... ademas angela dijo muy claro "NO CAMBIARA EL ESTILO DE ARCH ENEMY PARA NADA Y EN NINGUN SENTIDO" aunque soñar no te cuesta nada amiga XD

At first I couldn't stand the new singer (still haven't learned her name) and I was devastated that Angela left, but I still loved Michael and he writes everything, So I kept listening to War Eternal and this song and I really like the new singer. Also I hate to say it but her voice has a little more power than Angela's. Angela's era of Arch Enemy will always be my favorite though. Can't wait for the new album.

Great song, her cleans would fit perfectly in the chorus tho...

i agree..although even arch enemy knows that their hardcore fanbase will not accept this-because some believe death metal doesnt need clean vocals(i dont agree with that)...sometimes the fans can be so stupid that dont allow bands to take it further with their music...
