Great video and timely! I'm giving BookSirens a try now for the first time. After two weeks, I have 300+/+ impressions, 30+/- clicks and 4 downloads/reviewers for my release next week. We will see what the final outcome is.

Excellent video. Re: Booksirens: they required a PDF “print formatted’ file. That confuses me. Format to what? It’s only 15 pages and NOT for a book. Suggestions Welcome.

I'm preparing my debut novel for publishing. I noticed when I send my ARC copy to my readers it goes into their documents folder instead of their book folder. Is this normal, or does it mean something is wrong with my epub file? It looks fine in Kindle Previewer.

I was looking at a tutorial for submitting to Book Sirens, and it showed their Submit Your Book page. NOWHERE on that page did I see where you submit the actual manuscript! The video said nothing about it either! There were fields to submit the kind of book, the cover image, and the retailer URLs. Do they download the review copy from Amazon? You would think they would say so! Does Book Sirens download their evaluation copy from Amazon? Somebody help me out on this!

After you submit your book, you will receive an email letting you know if your book has been accepted. It is at this point when you will upload your book file for the ARC readers. Booksirens wants to make sure they have sufficient reviewers for your genre before you get too deep into the process

Thank you for the info. I'm looking for ARC's and may still use booksirens, despite its non professional base. Perhaps there's a reason Net Galley is $500 a year instead of 100? Higher standards? (idk) Seems like idiots are in Booksirens ARC doing reviews you're recommending. Meh situation normal. Finding beta readers for my novels is like panning for gold... and my back aches. I consider critters for reviews in exchange for reviewing. Tough exchange, writing time in exchange for reading and making reviews, to get points for your book to be reviewed. Best wishes to all writers--If you have something to say, write it!
