Very nice and comprehensive video. Just bought a 3" front and 4" rear coils and shocks (old Emu). Do I need new arm bushing and for installation as well and should I just have tge shop install them? Thanks in advance!

two things you need to add: 1) the only lube recommended for urethane bushings is silicone based only- do not use petroleum based lubricants to install the bushings. 2) there is a very important (and very often overlooked) part of this lift, in the rear is a device called the "Load Sensing Proportioning Valve". it's the device located just in front of the spare with the brake lines going to it that has a lever that attaches to the rear axle. a) unhook it from the axle BEFORE dropping the axle down or damage may occur b)its setting MUST be re-adjusted after the lift in order to restore proper braking pressure to the rear brakes or you may end up with too little/too much brake force to the rear. there is a spec and procedure in the Toyota manual on how to do this. your Toyota dealer will have the proper pressure gauges to calibrate this (at least they should as it is a "required" tool by Toyota). other than that good video guys.

Nice setup is that a 2.5" or 3" kit and did it come w/bushings. I'm in Guam bro Hafa Adai 671 planning either OME or Ironman w/foam cell shocks. Nice vid straight to the point.

The 80 series looks amazing but damnnnnn does it look perfect modded up with big tires and a lift. Imagine if toyota still made these for a decent price for the off road community and maybe just update little things like infotainment and just add all the off road goodies you can possibly put on here but take out all the luxury nonsense that’s in the 200 series. People would eat these up. Also if toyota came back out with an updated fj cruiser that would sell insanely well in today’s market as well. Those wheels look so good on this rig.

Great video. Fast and to the point. I'm having trouble finding a place to buy the 10mm isulator for the front springs. I put the lift on but I fill like I need a bit of leveling in the front. (FJ80). Do you suggest a place to buy online and should I consider going more than 10mm?

How on earth did you guys get away with using the factory panard rods or as the Americans call it a track bar? I put a 4" lift in my 80 & had half a tyre poking out on 1 side of the vehicle.

I just installed the OME 3" lift. My front axle looks fine but the rear is shifted a bit to the passenger side. I was worried I needed panhards but realized the passenger side is higher. I put the coils on the wrong side. Im gonna switch them and hopefully it levels out and shifts the axle a bit more centered.
