For anyone that's fitting there own hyperflex radius arms, its much easier to fit the diff end first then the chassis end :)
“Watch that little pumpkin kid you’ll smack him in the head with it” old Burto is one of the best things to happen to your channel 😂
It was great to meet you all (Tyler, Demi & Nick, as well as Shad) at the Sydney 4x4 Show yesterday (Sat). The 80 looks awesome in person. 👍 Nick's comments continues to crack me up - Eyemometer 🤣
When you’re so bogan you need subtitles...
It's easier if you undo the radius arm bolts and not the nuts. The nuts have 2 raised nipples that lock into the bracket making them a locknut.
That Nick is one🤣🤣👍👍 The 80 looks great, looked it over yesterday great job guys

Thank you!
Hot tip for when you get new rims in chrome/polished get just a thick layer of clear coat on them, then ceramic coat
Piss everyone off and put in a Barra Turbo 😂 Simply love this channel. Lotsa love from South Africa 🇿🇦
G'day guys, wow the Cruiser looks awesome... I prefer black wheels on a white vehicle, but the bling these wheels give do look awesome. Nice lift. The GQ's and 80 series 4wds are IMO the cream of the crop. You have created some nice 4wds. Well done !!! 👍.
Must be wheel aligned afterwards Tyler no ifs or butts mate. Will definitely scrub tyres if you go by measuring alone.

Great vid as always guys, couldn't make show this yr due to family and work commitments, but 80 looks great in the vid, cant wait to see it on the trails👍
Looking mint !
You guys are such a fun team to watch. Love the progress of the 80 Series. I'm with you with black wheels Tyler - not a fan. I also have one of those eyomometer that Nick has but mine is broken, I think. 😁
How good is Katie looking 😮 Burto and his (apprentice) are true blue 💙 legends!! What I’d give to have a couple of mates like them!!
Looking great folks, makes me think an 80 isn't such a bad idea after all. A few minutes on the 80 group will sort me out!
Your neighbours must love you
Looks great guys. the machined alloys are so retro, however absolutely suits the car
Awesome work guys!!
Bravo! Awesome rig Guys.
Been looking forward to these updates! Lookin good team!
a standard front bar and high mount would really look great with the sunvisor!
Cool transformation 👍👍
Rims are mint mate 👍so much better than black 😊

Should be good with all that gear on it, love the wheels. I've bought stuff from allfourx4, great to deal with.
Looks smick 😊mate .. he’s good on the tools !!
Luving birdo one liners - hope he’s on more eps
Great to see you guys at the show and say g'day. When are you going to start using spring rubbers??? Take the hammer off Nick. Love the EP. Love the disclosures. Good to see you guys doing this as most would do - in the driveway - realistic

Best 4WD Ever Built!
Looks great, sounds like it needs an LSA swap 😉
That feisty Lady's got one sweet looking beast 🤘🤙👍
Moog (Mighty car Mods) calls cordless impact guns dak daks (dack dacks?). He grew up on a cattle station. He once asked his Mom for advice, and she told him to use a dak dak and just send it! You guys have some imaginative slang lol.

Cool episode the 80 is looking great. Really wish I could have made it to the show. Oh well next year haha thats what I said last year.
I know I shouldn't laugh at bertie making fun of your pumpkin kid but I did...always fun videos guys...love these..😅
If I remember right, on those cruisers you undo the bolt and not the nut. Nuts tend to grab coz the have teeth on em. (I think) 😅

at 25:04 the red dot on tyre should be at the valve location, its the indicator for lightest part of tyre

Yep. Bloody amazing 👌👍
Really loving the look of this rig. I'd even go as far to say id prefer this over Sam Young's bigger isn't always best. On another note seems like install went heaps quicker on the 80 compared to the gu, Toyota easier to work on
looks very nice
Mean build brother.
Looking good guys. Hey Nick, that little pumpkin kid could be taller than you in a couple of years😂 Nicks side comments are gold😎👍 keep up the great work.
panhard bar you measure from tire or wheel or whatevers easy to the frame on each side and adjust until both sides are the same and the axle is centered
Love it💪
❤❤❤روعه عاشت يدك يا بطل وتحياتي للجميع من العراق
Never to big 😆 some great quotes in this one haha
The 80 is the best looking cruiser imho, ahead of the current Prado. Good on ya for finally getting a proper fourby 😆
You know that the nuts on the radius arms shouldn’t be undone, the bolt side should be undone as the nut has teeth that bite into chassis mounts 😉
Love it
demi, 5.35 mins in. "can you give me a rub down" 🤣🤣
Best build series. I couldn’t image the 1fz on the 35s would be any worse on fuel then the TB48 on 35s ?

Hey Tyler Thompson all great what you are doing but can you do a simple video on camping etiquette a lot of places are getting shit down due to people raiding the bush for timber leaving fires going etc. also maybe explain that for touring you do not need lift kits tyres
Undo the bolt on the radius arms. Not the nut. The nuts have little raised bumps to lock them in. Thats why they were so hard to undo

Mmmm nice rear brake proportion valve relocation kit ... and you wonder why you keep locking the front wheels in the wet lo..l
YET another Sunday morning ritual of maccas breakfast and a great TT vid. THANK GOD the qualified mechanic is present to go over and ensure you had all the proper parts and furthermore, to ensure you guys have your 💩 together and in order...as was starting to worry for a sec when she wasn't around.. 😁 I noticed that the most critical parts were specifically designated to the qualified mechanic at 25:00 with the torque tightening of nuts..and the touching up the rims. 😁 Oh at 15:00...heres boofhead squezzed up under the four-wheel drive with no room whatsoever trying to fit the bars to then 15 seconds later at 15:15, heres TT talking exactly about the situation of confined spaces where if you don't have a hoist at home this this is how you do it..ALL whilst looking over your right shoulder to see there is 2 brand new red things namely - car ramps that someones forgotten about 😊😁😂 haha Only complaint this week is still... No bop bop bop, No weather/temp report other than that...another awesome vid TT. 👍👍👍 🍺🍻

I wish you could mod trucks like we can in the USA and be road legal, and I wish we have your diesels 🤣 that being said I’ve got 35s on my 80 I’m about to go to 37s or 39s haven’t decided it gets up and goes just like stock with a set of 5.29 gears lol

What lift did you choose to run 37s? I'm looking into that project but with the videos I've seen the lifts are a mixture of different kits.
looks great what did you do about balancing the wheels ?
@TylerThompson90
Жыл бұрын
I haven't balanced the wheels on any of my 4wds, I find they drive quite nice as is. No wobbles or anything
Do you not need to balance bead lock wheels ??
Gday, only my opinion but I glad you didn’t go black rims, they make any car/4wd look dirty and shit, top build mate, cheers
You need a TOUGH AS floor mat. Aussie made good for sliding under your truck.
Im in the process of fte swapping my fz 105 the only swap worth doing the old fz was getting 21 per hundred grandpa spec driving around town like miss daisey
Great Vid.... $$$$$
Good stuff Gentlemen, Off the track query....When you do mods like this, especially DIY style...do you have to get the vehicle certified afterwards from some kind of a regulatory body? Planning on moving to Australia latter part of the year, I too work on my rigs both 4x4 and enduro bikes. Where I am now, we get pulled over for having heavy mods...even lifts, larger wheels and things like bull bars, auxiliary lighting like spotties, lightbars are frowned upon
@TylerThompson90
Жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. All mods have to be within the guidelines of the modification laws of the state you live in within Australia. All this information is online, there are certain things you have to have a professional do but a lot of things can be DIY.

As far as I am aware it doesn't make a difference doing the alignment with or without wheels. We don't balance the dirty life wheels, I find they drive pretty nice as is

@@Moretrailsmorecamping I own both, 80 is the better offroad vehicle and the GU is the better road/towing vehicle. But, that's in modified form.
