Glad to save your few dollars hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching
Well described presentation. Their hoses fail due to the heat coming out of the compressor. A short length of stainless braided hose connected to the compressor helps to dissipate the heat and move the air fitting to the end of this hose.
Thanks mate, you're a gentleman and a scholar. I had the same issue with mine and fixed it. You saved me $50 bucks, if I ever see you around I'll shout you a beer or two.

Easy fix yeah literally only a five minute job would've been worse if I had didn't have a go at it would've cost me 50 bucks and the trouble thanks for watching
My ARB hose just blew out. Not at the fittings but in several places. It's about 6 years old so it's time for a new but like you said, I'm not wanting to buy another one for $40+. I'm trying to find a replacement hose now. I've seen a lot of people suggest going to a 3/8 hose instead of the ARB 1/4. I feel 3/8 is just overkill tbh.
Your're the best mate.😀

Thanks Trevor hope you got something out of it
I do love the ARB kit... and have this same compressor and hose setup... but gee... sometimes their customer service is a bit ordinary... it's clear you weren't misusing it, and the break wasn't caused by your treatment of the product... surely they could have spotted you a complimentary hose... Nice work around tho mate! 👍 New scratch on the bench?? Every scratch and dent is a new story mate! 😂

Great video mate, when you're tightened the fitting, what's the torque spec? 1 grunt or 2? :)
@NasTimeAdventures

Bahahaha. The older you get, the more grunts you need.

just for you, I will do that 🥺
We would imagine the ARB staff are either trained in upselling or have no idea about repairs. Years ago the "throwing out" trend started with the non working fridge or tv. It is cheaper to buy a new fridge or tv than repair it. So now there are generations who simply think its best to throw it away. We are believe in repairing rather than throwing out (unless of course it is beyond repair). Well done on the simple fix. Similar to repairing a garden hose. And better yet saving $50.

That was the worst part about it is the guys at ARB did not even know how to repair it a shame all I wanted to do was upsell but never mind we got a fix now thanks for watching
Had the same issue with mine. But the difference was mine melted the end of the line & just happen to blow off the fitting at the same time I hit the switch to turn it off. Bloody thing missed my face by inches. I ended up moving the fitting & installing metal braded line from the compressor to remove some of the heat away from the fitting on the plastic line. You know how hot they get after filling up 4 wheels :)

Just a new story to tell about my table and it's not so new
And they know it's designed to be repaired... they just want their money more...
