Great video Ash, I’ve only just discovered your channel so I’m currently binge watching! My favourite cologne for during the day / office is l’occitane, it’s fresh and works well with all seasons. Often get asked by the girls in the office what cologne it is and for a chap of 50 always a confidence boost! Just don’t tell Mrs Mallory!

Had a buddy back in 70s I went to high school with ,the guy bathed in original Aramis. When I see or hear it I think of him. Just started stepping up my fragrance collection this year, Dolce & Gabbana makes some nice products that are modestly priced. Also picked up Givenchy Gentelman Intense a lovely scent!

Thank you for the informative video. I have only recently discovered the fragrance and considered whether to dare a blind purchase, because I can not test it and the comments in a perfume community, in which I am, are rather negative. After your video I decided to buy and hope I will like the fragrance. I think 30 euros for 110 ml was also a good price.

I just had Aramis Havana and New West delivered yesterday. Both very nice but once it dried down they both smell like the original Aramis which i didnt want as I already have that one

I have the Classic and the Devin. I just purchased the Havana you may want to try and now I will check this one out. My favorite summer fragrances are Tommy and especially Bvlgari pour homme my summer signature (I have still the original batches but half empty). Cheers

I don’t like the traditional Aramis - it’s a bit assertive for me - but Adventurer is a really classic cologne. Smells a bit like something else that I can’t quite put my finger on. Any ideas?

I have Havana, Devin and Tobacco Reserve. I’ve been on the hunt for JHL as well. There are rumors that they may be discontinuing a large number of the men’s line so if you’re getting low on any of your favorites it may be a good time for a backup bottle. My son loves “borrowing” my Havana so I just recently got a backup of it.

I've got a couple of suggestions for colognes. Mr Taylors Gentlemans Cologne and Dunhill Icon. Keep up the good work.

I haver both those - Icon is a particular fave of mine

I love this fragrance. The problem is, sadly, Aramis discontinued this product.

Hi Ash, what's your recommendation for the best 'ocean spray' scent? I bought a bottle of Davidoff Cool Water hoping that would be the one, but while I like it, it wasn't quite as 'marine aquatic' as I wanted. I'm looking for the full on ocean experience, have you got any suggestions?

On a very cheap level, I recently tried a bottle of Agua Brava Azul - its a product of Antonio Puig and has a certain ocean charm that I have not encountered elsewhere - cheap as chips too.

I have for you three quite cheap but classic fragrances you may want to test. Cerruti 1881 pour Homme, Boucheron pour Homme and also one I don't process yet Boucheron Jaipur Homme. It would be great to have your opinion about these. Cheers.

I remember reading in the newspaper many years ago about a man who was prosecuted for selling fake "eau de toilette" out of a suitcase. In reality the battles contained...ahem...his urine :-D True story.
