I like Dunhill Icon as well. But the opening gives me a “grape soda” type vibe in the beginning. No complaints here. My favorite is Dunhill Desire.

Thank you for the list Antonio, as always very informative. it is summer and I need to grab my never fail go to, Christian Dior Fahrenheit. Just gives me that fresh summer vibe and the women always give compliments.

I had to laugh at a few of these as they were my go-tos in the early 90's when I was in uni. Quorum (both), Tommy by the bucket, Cool Water when i was at work in the pubs and I used a tiny bottle of Aramis as a glovebox emergency stash. Thanks Antonio, the nostalgia alone made this one great and the few ideas I'm going to try with a few of the others may or may not be great but don't know if you don't try. ....and yes, I'm in my 50s and the nineties were almost as much fun as the 80s ;)

Dunhill Icon was my SOTD yesterday. Love it, it's a grown man fragrance. Pepper done to perfection

I have owned the likes of Sauvage, Bleu De Chanel EDP, PDM Leyton, Aqua Di Gio Profumo......but no fragrance has come close, to getting me the amount of compliments that the Hugo by Hugo Boss frag got me. I used to wear it to work, about 15 yrs ago. Women of all ages loved it. From teenage girl to "older" women. True Story

I love aramis, and even wear it in my rotation during the Sacramento summers on 95 or so degree days. Such a classic! Antonio, I am so pleased you mentioned this great classic. Confidence is indeed necessary. Go light though--no more than 3 sprays in the heat.

How long would you say aramis lasts? Would you do 3 sprays in morning and a few in the afternoon? (I commonly do that with most cheaper colognes). Or is it more of an all day scent?

Great list plus a nod to so many great nostalgic frags from the 90's cool water; tommy, ck, etc. I've been wearing many on this list the last few months due to wanting something fresh smelling for summer but also cost effective due to so many people wearing masks.

I wore Nautica in high school and got a bottle as a gift last year and I've gotten plenty ppl asking me what I'm wearing and are shocked by how cheap it is. :)

Great video! As an older gent of 60, I still like to keep up to date on fragrances. Through the years (and I mean about 40) I have kept Bernard Chant's / Estee Lauder's Aramis in my collection. Glad to see someone giving Aramis a little love. Definitely one of my all-time favorite fragrances. However, I would like to know which modern fragrances compare. Keep up the good work. I'm a woman in her late 20's with a passion for old school fragrances. Aramis, in my opinion, is one of the classiest AND sexiest colognes. I bought a huge bottle of the stuff, and always apply it when I need a bit of extra comfort. As a perfumista I genuinely don't care about gender when it comes to perfumes. If it smells good, I have to wear it. I also wear Drakkar Noir sometimes. Beautiful gorgeous fragrances, the both of them. I only wish I would smell them on a man sometimes, but alas in my country men seem to gravitate towards boring fresh non-descript stuff, or Jean Paul Gaultier (don't get me wrong, it smells good, but it's everywhere).

That's a great one but too heavy for summer in my opinion. Personally when it comes to classics, I like something brighter like Guerlain Vetiver or Acqua di Parma Colonia during summertime.

@@harjad9546 It's interesting that you would mention ADP Colonia. I've been trying to decide which ADP fragrance to buy, but I just can't seem to decide. Also, I keep reading comments from people saying ADP's scents smell fantastic after the initial spray. But, they quickly fade especially for an expensive niche scent. I really want to try one, but I don't want to bother ordering samples. Would you highly recommend the Colonia? Have you tried any other ADP scents like the ones from the Mediterraneo line?... Hope to hear your opinion. 😊

@@oldiesgeek454 Colonia is the one from 1916 so if you like the classics, it's the clear choice. I'd say it lasts a good five hours. I'm not familiar with their other perfumes. I'd also recommend looking into Álvarez Gómez Agua Concentrada and Floris Limes. Even worse lasting power though. Citrus fragrances are always fleeting and that's just the way it is.

Aramis is my favourite. They make Aramis Tuscany which i like in summer along with Old Spice & felce azzurra. (here in Australia a lot of Italian grocery shops have it. They make deo, talcum powder, washing powder and soap.😋) They all are very reasonably priced but smell better then most of new expensive stuff.

I know fragrances are subjective but I've got to say the best on that list is by far Nautica Voyage. I have ADG Profumo, Profondo, Absolu. Prada l'homme, Carbon, Sauvage etc etc and I reach for Nautica almost daily lol !!! Not sure why. I had it for years and never wore it and got another bottle and love it.

Aramis has been my go to fragrance for over 4 decades. Your right Antonio it is a BEAST, but it works well personal chemistry & I've only had positive comments about it from both women & men.

My favorite is Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme. Very nice green fragrance that easily gets me at least nine hours performance. It’s a true compliment getter. My next compliment getter has always been Silver Mountain Water. It’s my favorite Creed.

I bought a limited edition of CK Electric yrs ago and it was great

1 I would definitely add for a nice cheaper fragrance IF you can find it at discounters would be Azzaro Chrome Pure. Very nice for hot weather. I paid like $27 but now I'm having trouble finding it.

Best think about you is you dont waste time from the start you directly talk the point to want tell

I would add, Sung. Very easy, light. Good clean, last all day, smell.

I like Aranis wood scent.

I really really like Dunhill Icon Racing! Got a sample of Dunhill Icon and threw it away. Maybe I got a bad sample 🤷🏻‍♂️ I absolutely love the original Dunhill from the early 90s

Hugo by hugo boss is still great , they haven't reformulated it . They reformulated Issey miyake l 'eau d'issey edt it just smells like a midge spray I used to have and it only last's an hour now.

I disagree with people who say Nautica Voyage is bad. I agree with Antonio. I picked it up last month for about €25 when he recommended it in a previous video and it absolutely has a strong scent and lasts all day. In fact, compared to CK One and CK Free, I can actually smell this on my body, even when I'm not doing anything strenuous. The fragrances I mentioned, I have to smell my wrist, to get a scent.

I always like Nautica products but I am a car guy so I might have to try the Ferrari one. 😃

Tommy Bahama Set Sail Martinique is the goat....... 😩😩😩😍😍. It smells so good, refreshing and just mysterious. You can buy it at TjMaxx or Marshalls for under $30 for the set or $20 by itself. Thank me later

I seem to get more compliments about Nautica Voyage than anything else (I'm in Florida and it is a great beach fragrance) and then Cool Water. Go figure. Wore Aramis for decades - not sure why I stopped. Buying a new bottle and giving Cool Water Wave a try!

A classic scent for someone you age would probably be Caron Pour Homme. It’s been around since 1934. And it’s only $30 on Fragrancenet

must be crazy to live in a country where fragrances are affordable, your cheap dunhill icon is $150 in brazil, thats 1/2 minimal wage here, =D, good video.

Radiant bergamot by Ferrari, starts up very heavy on the bergamot. After 1 hour it settles down and becomes very pleasant, with the other scent coming up to the surface. It last easily 6 + hours on me and with a good projection. Its a high quality summer cheaply if you like bergamot / evolving into a very pleasant scent. Also I would recommend Neroli from Ferrari another summer quality cheapy (I use that to save on my Acqua Di Parma Ezzenza.).

Word Life , Asib Safi , GHOST ECLIPSE i was wearing jimmy choo man, it has kind of a sweet scent but it lasts reasonably long and is a nice smell, and the prices aren’t too high, if you’re looking for it then it is a black tinted glass bottle, just search “jimmy choo man”

My signature scent is a rather cheap fragance called UdV For Men. Do you know it, Antonio? A strong, masculine scent. Their Blue line is great for summer but nothing beats For Men. You should try it :)

fun fact in the old days the people would tie a bag of potpouri around their belt loop for fragrance :)

The tommy hilfiger is really a good fragrance. But it doesn’t last long. Only a few hours

Calvin klein eternity aqua is a very nice cheapie

Nautica Voyage on me lasts into the next day. But smells like 'cheap body wash clean' to me. It's not bad, but it just doesn't stand out. Which can be a good thing , i don't think it will offend anyone.
