Arab Man Reacts to IRON MAIDEN - Brave New World [LIVE at Rock in Rio]

Музыка

Habibati! How is this possible? How has it taken so long to get to Iron Maiden? That is a question that will never be answered. Or it might.
I absolutely loved 'Brave New World', it's got such a great feel to it and the energy these guys have on stage is unbelievable, what a workout performing a show must be! I'm definitely excited to check out more of their stuff, maybe newer, maybe older, you let me know in the comments!
If you want to know what my top 3 favorite things about this performance are, well we have an entire video dedicated just to that that you can find linked below!

I'm not even sure how this happened, but this video was filmed back in 2020, we uploaded it on KZread and it got blocked. We were never able to release it anywhere except Patreon. 2 years later, I was randomly checking the archive on KZread and saw that it had become unblocked and is publishable. Like just WOW. If you're wondering why this looks so old, it's because it is. I don't even remember what I say or do in this video.

The one thing in this performance that always amazes me happens at 1:54 (like 0:05 in the original video), when the song starts. The crowd cheered like it was some sort of classic, you know... that one song that every band has, that they have played since decades and the fans love and can't wait to hear live. Well, Brave New World was actually the title track of the album they were promoting with that tour.

It’s amazing cause the 3 guitarrists have different styles, so the solos are chosen according to the atmosphere they want in the song. Dance Of Death has 3 solos. I recommend. This song is a masterclass of storytelling. Great vídeo!

Bruce 43 in this video, just turned 65 a few weeks back. Youngest in the band. Saw them in Europe 2 months ago and they performed exactly like this. Have not a lost a step, and Bruce still sounds fantastic. Energy in the arena was off the charts. Kudos to these guys for maintaining such a high level 40+ years in, when they are way past needing to do it for the money or anything other than self-satisfaction.

Since 1980 they have been around and Bruce joined up in 1982, the band consists of Bruce, Steve Harris, Dave Murry, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, and new guitarist Janick Gers, over the years I have seen them 10 times and they always put on a phenomenal show. The debut album Iron Maiden and Killers album was with Paul Di'Anno but he had bad reputation with drugs and alcohol, he was kicked out. Bruce was the perfect fit for the band, in his youth years with the band was a phenomenal vocalist very powerful. 2023 and they are still touring with almost 50 years of rock music since they formed back in 1975.

@@ArrriochYou've mentioned all the later gigs and Adrian doesn't play them the same way like he did in the '80s. He's implemented more neo classical licks (which are still great) to his style and lost a little bit of that "rock and rollish" vibe. YT didn't show me your response though.

Adrian didn't play the solo because that was Steve's idea I presume. Adrian plays these mostly on his tracks - songs from Somewhere In Time album for instance. He and Dave usually played them both but when Janick stayed at Maiden they all had to learn to share. There are songs where they all play the solos, mostly from the "newer" albums because they got better at arranging them onto three guitars. The harmonies were created before IM in bands like Thin Lizzy or Boston.

If you think that is a big audience. You should check out the Monsters of Rock '91 in Moscow, Some estimate 1.6 to over 3 Million. Was said it was the biggest crowd ever but can't be confirmed cause it was a free concert for the former soviet union whose kids had very little access to Western things. So they kinda of went nuts.
