Arab Man Reacts to IRON MAIDEN - Brave New World [LIVE at Rock in Rio]
Музыка
Habibati! How is this possible? How has it taken so long to get to Iron Maiden? That is a question that will never be answered. Or it might.
I absolutely loved 'Brave New World', it's got such a great feel to it and the energy these guys have on stage is unbelievable, what a workout performing a show must be! I'm definitely excited to check out more of their stuff, maybe newer, maybe older, you let me know in the comments!
If you want to know what my top 3 favorite things about this performance are, well we have an entire video dedicated just to that that you can find linked below!

I'm not even sure how this happened, but this video was filmed back in 2020, we uploaded it on KZread and it got blocked. We were never able to release it anywhere except Patreon. 2 years later, I was randomly checking the archive on KZread and saw that it had become unblocked and is publishable. Like just WOW. If you're wondering why this looks so old, it's because it is. I don't even remember what I say or do in this video.

The one thing in this performance that always amazes me happens at 1:54 (like 0:05 in the original video), when the song starts. The crowd cheered like it was some sort of classic, you know... that one song that every band has, that they have played since decades and the fans love and can't wait to hear live. Well, Brave New World was actually the title track of the album they were promoting with that tour.
The attendance was 250k at this show. This live record is what got me into Maiden. Just saw them again a few months ago and they're still just as good and wild on stage.

250k? I've heard there were over 300k or even more, counting people that were further from the stage. A sea of human beings.
250k people, i was there. Iron Maiden is religion here in Brazil.

I was there, my friend. 250k people and the return of Bruce Dickinson to Iron Maiden. I never felt fully rested in my life after this day!
You have a very good understanding of the band... well done. :) And yeah, the crowd was 250,000 in Rio. Amazing, and absolutely legendary concert!
This show was 250 000 people attending so it's crazy amount of people 🤘
It’s amazing cause the 3 guitarrists have different styles, so the solos are chosen according to the atmosphere they want in the song. Dance Of Death has 3 solos. I recommend. This song is a masterclass of storytelling. Great vídeo!

As a loooong time Maiden fan, Dance Of Death is one of my faves.
They have the same energy today, +20 years after that concert. They ar so damn talented and cool.
Now this is a good reaction!

Bruce was 43 in 2001

42 - because Rock in Rio takes place in January.
Bruce 43 in this video, just turned 65 a few weeks back. Youngest in the band. Saw them in Europe 2 months ago and they performed exactly like this. Have not a lost a step, and Bruce still sounds fantastic. Energy in the arena was off the charts. Kudos to these guys for maintaining such a high level 40+ years in, when they are way past needing to do it for the money or anything other than self-satisfaction.

I was there and was also in 1985 seen Iron Maiden in the first Rock'n Rio and also 2013 again in Rock'n Rio. Iron Maiden is the best
As usual man… a great great reaction
Since 1980 they have been around and Bruce joined up in 1982, the band consists of Bruce, Steve Harris, Dave Murry, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, and new guitarist Janick Gers, over the years I have seen them 10 times and they always put on a phenomenal show. The debut album Iron Maiden and Killers album was with Paul Di'Anno but he had bad reputation with drugs and alcohol, he was kicked out. Bruce was the perfect fit for the band, in his youth years with the band was a phenomenal vocalist very powerful. 2023 and they are still touring with almost 50 years of rock music since they formed back in 1975.
I was only 14 years old when my father took me to Monster of Rock 88' in Madrid. I had already heard a couple of albums by the band and I liked them. But that moment was when I fell in love with his music.
Yeah! I was there. 250 thousand people, jan 19 - Rock in Rio 2001. Up the Irons!!!
🤪 it was just a matter of time for arab man reacts to Iron Maiden 🎸🥁🎤
Their early live stuff hits hard. Raw talent.
🎉❤👏👏👏I have been an Iron Maiden fan for 30 years. I can't (don't want to) choose a favorite song, but for a real bass guitar gallop, listen to The Talisman😊
Saw them in that same year, 2001, spring. I've seen them a couple times!
Iron Maiden started on the 25th of December 1975 by founder Steve Harris the main song writer and bass player😜 Iron Maiden who are the GREATEST(live;)BAND in the world now and forever👏 Up the mighty Irons!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
"The third guy" is Adrian Smith and he does have a LOT of absolutely brilliant solos in other Maiden songs. Would recommend Paschendale live 2003 Dance on the Road/Dance of Death live from En Vivo/Revelations and 2 Minutes to Midnight live from Live After Death/Stranger in a Strange Land videoclip/Moonchild and Infinite Dreams live from Maiden England/Wasted Years live from Flight 666

@@ArrriochYou've mentioned all the later gigs and Adrian doesn't play them the same way like he did in the '80s. He's implemented more neo classical licks (which are still great) to his style and lost a little bit of that "rock and rollish" vibe. YT didn't show me your response though.
Great reaction!!! When you have a chance, check out the entire Rock in Rio 2001 Iron Maiden concert. Evething is great!!! Enjoy and Up the Irons!!
If you wanna see all 3 guitarists solo check out Dance of Death En Vivo, and your mind is gonna be blown by Bruce's vocal performance
You should hear The Nomad off the same album. It's really a tribute to old-school Arabs, and it's epic.
Great reaction, keep it up bro, hope you do some more Maiden 🤙
They can do it because they love what they do and do it for the fans not for their egos. Bruce transcended a throat cancer and Nicko a stroke that left his left side paralyzed and at their late 60´s and still kicking it every show on their tour
Buenas noches, inesperado encuentro con este mítico grupo, ya tenemos cierta edad, ellos y yo. Gracias por el vídeo y un saludo.
In their 40s Bruce is 65 now at the time of this show he was 42 Nick’o the Drummer is 71 now he would have been 49 at the time

Nicko was 48
Bruce has recovered from throat cancer in 2014 and Nick’o suffered a mild stroke in January this year and he still played on this year’s Future Past Tour I didn’t notice anything different when I saw them in Nottingham in July
y have played the middle east, egypt and israel. they flew around the world on flightn666 with the singer bruce, who also worked as a passenger jet pilot flying them. they have played to as many as 300,000 see rock in rio and en vivo.
Adrian didn't play the solo because that was Steve's idea I presume. Adrian plays these mostly on his tracks - songs from Somewhere In Time album for instance. He and Dave usually played them both but when Janick stayed at Maiden they all had to learn to share. There are songs where they all play the solos, mostly from the "newer" albums because they got better at arranging them onto three guitars. The harmonies were created before IM in bands like Thin Lizzy or Boston.
hey im subscribe from brazil now, u welcome , great line to maiden
Bro theres around 265,000 at this show lol ... Long live iron maiden
Luckily I’ve been there. What a spectacular performance. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Up the Irons!
Maiden -Fear of the Dark (Live in Rio) - Run to the Hills - The number of the beast (666) - Trooper

I am a big Maiden fan.. Rock in rio 2001 show is their best live show ever! Please Watch The clansman or hallowed be thy name next
Metallica played to 1.6 million in 1991 in Moscow, great reaction!
Fui neste show. 19/01/2001. Foi épico.
They are the best ever and its a shame that so many avoided listening to them because they were "scary". These 5 guys are the nicest most regular dudes ever and they wrote killer music.
@aimfuldrifter
4 ай бұрын
"Scary"? Their stuff is lighter than COB or bands from death metal, black metal or hard-core genre.
If you want to hear a Adrian Smith solo watch the Wickerman from the same show the first solo on this song was from Janrick Gers and the second solo from Mr Dave Murray
He didn't turn in his "solo" paper in time. He was excluded from a solo on that song because of it. Say… Iron Maiden rules with a heavy hand. They don't play that… "my dog ate my solo paper" crap.
Up The Irons 🤘
Dickenson would have been 43 in 2001, he's 65 now.

I saw Maiden in 2012, and Bruce was still running around the stage like a spider-monkey. I don't get it. Must be industrial strength meth or something.
Rime of the ancient mariner flight 666 live...te recomiendo saludos desde Chile
there are vids of them falling, playing as they go down, lying there playing.
If you think that is a big audience. You should check out the Monsters of Rock '91 in Moscow, Some estimate 1.6 to over 3 Million. Was said it was the biggest crowd ever but can't be confirmed cause it was a free concert for the former soviet union whose kids had very little access to Western things. So they kinda of went nuts.
Nice bro! Please can you please react to one of their greatest song “Hallowed be thy name” live 1982
ok so if you want to see BIG crowds.. take a look at the Metallica videos from Moscow 1991 or Sabaton from Woodstock 2012 If you want to see CRAZY crowds, take a look at Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction (Live in Argentina) or AC/DC live at Riverplate. And in all these the songs are kick-ass too!
Their not bad for a bunch of grandparents
If you would like to see RAW... PLEASE View W.A.S.P. "The Flame" live in Irvine 1985........MUST......
Brother please react THE POWER OF LOVE cover by Vanny Vabiola. Vanny has an angelic voice, very beautiful smooth clear and melodic voice, so powerful. Thsnks so much
You look like a toddler watching this video ☺ An 8 years old kid 🤭👍
Quite simply one of the greatest bands ever with one of the greatest vocalists ever. This whole show was amazing seeing Bruce back with the boys, and there were half a dozen songs from the brand new album which was an awesome comeback for Bruce.
"I don't know maiden" and you're starting with Brave New World? I love this track but it's a bit of a deep cut.
250k
Should react to Metallica live Moscow 1991 creeping death
What's going on with having only one (fantastic) Maiden reaction and a whole bunch of metalica reactions. I'm so confused.

So I recorded this a couple of years ago, and it was entirely blocked. I learned back then that Iron Maiden performances can’t be reacted to. A few weeks ago, I’m going through my old uploads and see that it was unblocked. So i posted it. Maybe I’ll do more Maiden now that I know they can be posted. ❤️

If you’ve heard so little of Maiden that you would only possibly recognize a song of theirs if you heard it how do you know that their song structure here is “classic Maiden”?
@ArabManReacts

Probably 15 years playing with my band. They used to always play maiden bits and riffs here and there, and talk about them a lot. I think I know 1 or 2 songs really well (through gigs and shows that i've been to), not enough to sing them, but enough that they're imprinted as core memories haha
Up the Irons!
