A few years ago another reactor said a very similar thing, that it's not until you hear Dimash sing a song that almost any other singer could do, that you appreciate how truly great he is as a vocalist. I've said many times before that we do Dimash a huge disservice by constantly recommending the show stopper songs, people gain an impression that he's some kind of operatic singer, get bored after 3 or 4 songs and quickly move on to the next without ever knowing how versatile he is and exactly what he's capable of doing vocally.

I have just been to Istanbul to see Dimash on his 30th birthday. Wow, what an experience it was. He is just at home on the stage surrounded by over 30,000 Dears having a great big birthday party. He was so incredible singing, dancing, introducing all the special guests who came to celebrate with all of us for 4 hours non stop. It was a really lively concert, a real party with us as his guests. The love at that huge stadium was so real and so beautiful. Dimash is the bringer of peace and harmony gathering all of us from countries far and wide. I am from the United Kingdom and sat with 4 other disabled Dears in our wheelchairs from Kazakhstan, from Turkey another from the UK. We were given a special platform raised up from the main seating area and we had an uninterrupted view right down the centre isle. Other Dears greeted us with gifts, one lady was from Japan, another was Turkish and another Kazakh. We heard so many different languages, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, South African dialect, Korean, Greek and many more. We were all guests at the birthday party, all friends. Dimash bought us all together. We communicate online and chat happily never caring about nationality, religion, colour, politics. We are Dimash's Dears and thats all that matters to us. He is the bringer of love, peace, friendship, one family, his family. We love Dimash unconditionally, we support and promote him in many ways. We give to charities, support those less fortunate, Chinese Dears even planted a forest, and we sent him to Mars by getting him a boarding pass for the Mars mission. Dears buy time on big screens in New York Times Square, in Beijing, on the Metro in South America. We do this because we love him. He give us so, so much and we do our best to give back what we can. Sorry this is long but its hard to put so much love in a couple of words. Thank you for this beautiful reaction, thank you for really seeing Dimash, hopefully you will get more from seeing the whole 4 hour concert from Almaty, it was an incredible concert and he made it perfect ❤

The Istanbul stadium may have that capacity, but it was very empty. Perhaps around 6000 max. This was mainly due to how close the concert was to the Budapest concert. It's a real pity. But the air was filled with excitement. It really felt like a birthday party

I agree with what you said. Dimash's signature showstoppers are so mind-blowing that it can be to the detriment of the absolute beauty of the majority of his repertoire, which doesn't have pyrotechnics. Some of those songs, like this one, are my personal favorites.

For me, without a shadow of a doubt, I want his Ave Maria at my funeral… I lost my sister-in-law, totally unexpectedly 2 days ago, way to young. For 2 days, I listened to Dimash’s Ave Maria on repeat. It is the only thing that can comfort me…

What blows me away is how he makes me feel like he's singing to me! He's so sincere and tender, like his heart is on his sleeve and then the moment we're all waiting for when he says at the end "I love you dears!" E adevarat ce spui, impactul e enorm când îl cunoști direct cu acele melodii imposibile pentru alții, asta îi face un deserviciu pe termen lung, dar selecția se face când se trece de acel moment. Dacă au răbdare și ajung să acceseze și acest fel de melodii, oamenii atrași de Dimash rămân acolo, lângă sufletul lui. There was an amazing article at DimashNews regarding his birthday concert in Istanbul. The number of people involved was 200, and it describes much of what you said. It's very enlightening to read it. That is why I even admire him more. I feel this is a very special song Dimash sings. When I saw him in concert for the first time in NYC, it brought tears to my eyes. I feel like this is his anthem to his fans and his career. That he recognizes how incredible things have been so far for him and , even if it all goes away, he will always treasure it. You could really feel that sentiment in NYC as that was his first US solo concert (and only so far!). I love what you said about how people who only watch the show-stoppers don't really appreciate all that he brings as an artist. I'm loving this concert journey with you! Thank you for your reaction. This song is from the short film "Phantacity" in which Dimash also acts. He sings thus at his concerts to thank his Dears. He was recently featured in a German documentary of 5 young CEOs who are changing their industry. Dimash is CEO of his own production company. He does everything in-house. All those components you mentioned are part of his production company. He is amazing.

As the DEARS' theme song it truly sums up the core of his artistry: hope, longing, compassion, unity/inclusivity, respect, Faith, gratitude and dreams of global peace. 99.333% of his songs have some combo of these themes.

Finally someone who understands what dimash is saying! It really adds to the quality of everything when you know what he is talking to the audience about I really appreciate the host of this channel as this is my first time watching. I have watched hundreds of reaction videos but this one is special in that the language barrier is broken. And I am a singer myself I have been singing for 41 years I sing spiritual songs.. but having listened to all of the voice coaches trying to explain how the human voice works chess voice head voice vibrato just how something is done I have learned and I have grown as a singer myself. I have always sung a great passion but I have discovered that what I did naturally could be improved upon and I appreciate all of the wonderful coaches trying to encourage others to stretch and to examine their own voices and their own limits. Dimash is the best voice on the planet hands down. His is a gift from God. I Think that his voice whether we understand the language or not speaks to the very soul of man. It's a universal longing to know and experience the spiritual side of life.

Dimash is more than a wide vocal range and that is only that many people get. First of all, I love that you are reacting to the whole concert! (just wish there wasn’t a whole week in between;songs 🙈). Second, I was there (it was my 2nd live concert of his, right now I’ve done 6, and counting!) and this song, like a hymn to the Dears, is so genuine and so heartfelt, that I could still feel it, weeks or even months after the performance. And third, I am having my wedding party in October, and I am trying to get my (future) hubby to choose THIS SONG as our opening dance at the wedding party 😂. I am trying sooooo hard, wish me luck 😂😂. I’ve never been to a concert but from the videos I’ve seen, concerts make Dimash so much more lovable and unique, the interaction with the audience and the atmosphere, I don’t think that is common with other artists. I am so glad that you are enjoying the concert, there’s nothing not to enjoy, it definitely shows how wonderful Dimash is as a person ❤.

Three of my favourite songs are Quaragym-ai, Amanat and Marigolds. They have no vocal acrobats or extreme high notes. You just hear sincerity and beauty, and none of those are in English, which is my language. I’ve been to five of his concerts now. The love in the auditorium is overwhelming.

I've been looking for a reaction like this for a long time and I really appreciate you doing it. I think this is the feeling of many people who get a bit tired of technical comments and putting him like an alien. Of course he has a wonderful voice and his range is OMG, but the way so many of us connect with him transcends all of that; the way his performance touches everyone's deepest depths goes beyond his D8 and all the tricks he does with his fantastic voice. This is one of my very favorite songs, and performances. Thank you for doing this. After you have seen all of it, and picked yourself up off the floor , please watch the whole Bastau concert,when he was still just 23, after he did The Singer competitionn in China. If you watch The Singer first you can get the backstories to 3 songs, which includes some u have seen b4. They are Autumn Strong, Daybreak and Daididau, all true sad stories and you should know about them first. At Bastau, Jamaica, Leyla and Last Word are good. But nothing beats his performance of Daididau there.! Looking forward to the next one from you.

You will really love to see his video Omir with his brother Mansur playing guitar. Dimash composed and wrote the lyrics of a song where he opens his heart to all of us. He spread his love of Kazakh culture in his present tour-Stranger--too, even though the theme of that tour is "less" Kazakh. He blends all styles seamlessly. By the way, this song more than any other Dimash single, makes me bawl. It's the chord progressions, the gentle instruments, the graceful dance, Dimash's heart. All of it. Hurts so good!

I have thought the same thing about the way he is usually introduced to new people. He has soooo, so many lovely tunes from before Singer and Igor Krutoy. Very few reactors have listened to this songs, it’s all but forgotten & it’s a shame because this are the songs that shows his very inhuman voice. A few of the other commenters have already talked a bit about this but I thought I would add a bit more. This song is from a movie short Dimash was part of called Phantacity. It was done in China for a TV series a few years ago. I highly recommend to anyone that appreciates this song to check it out.
