Yeah there is sadly only so much complaining I can do. It will make the content worse if I am overly negative. I think the art style change will greatly hurt the game but it is their game to do with they see fit.

Yuppp agreed. I know it's still early testing but Infinity looks CHEAP. Like aesthetically and fundamentally CHEAP. I actually love the new combat system they're working on but aqw has always been about the visuals. Progressively more so over the years. If infinity looks terrible, all the new gameplay features/ the entire new engine is moot. What's the point in playing??? How are longtime AQW players supposed to CARE about infinity if it looks like a shovelware mobile game from like 2017?? I'm not trying to disrespect J6/jX or anything but those freaking Wyverns look terrible. I wish AE could get some perspective/put the ego aside and understand that these redesigns are OBJECTIVELY generic without any AE charm/nostalgia appeal whatsoever. For some reason it feels like AE is still in denial that nostalgia is a huge reason (if not the BIGGEST reason) that ppl still play their games in 2024. And that's not a BAD THING!!! Total guesstimation work but I bet like 95% of AQW's revenue over the past like 5 years came from old players. This isn't an attack on newer players, I wish there was more of them, it's just frustrating how AE lowkey neglects the most devoted part of AQW's playerbase because the ppl in control unironically think more detail=better. The games would be better if AE understood their strengths and actually played to them, instead of new=always better. Instead of endlessly chasing the aesthetic GHOST of how hype it was when Blizzard revamped the World of Warcraft character models in like 2013. Look how that game turned out... Also I HATE to dunk on Alina, cuz on a human level she seems like a good person and I think she gets enough vitriolic crap from players already. But I don't think she knows whats best for the game anymore and she hasn't in a long time. I think this is because the majority of her interactions with players happens on Twitter (and maybe Discord) inside of a weird little BUBBLE of aqw players who just want to cosplay 1-1 as their favorite anime character and don't give a crap about aesthetics and have no taste haha. Basically, the only people in the community with a voice are those who are INSANE enough to create AQW-themed social media accounts and be active in this niche online community. EXTERNAL to the game itself. Meaning that Alina essentially makes all of her big aqw decisions based on the feedback she gets from a group of WEEB FURRIES who, in her eyes, apparently represent the entire playerbase now for some reason. In terms of quality control for the game, this is a stupid sample group of players to give the entire microphone to cuz it's very incomplete. There's a ton of ppl who play AQW regularly and probably have some good opinions about the game. But no matter how much money they spend on the game or how active they are, they essentially don't EXIST unless they frequently interact with Alina on twitter. Also she probably won't read ur tweets unless u either SPAM her or ur already well established in the AQW social media community. So it's simply too much of a hassle for most normal people haha. I'm not proposing any solution to this cuz i dont HAVE one (other than maybe play the actual game more????) but unfortunately this is the case for MOST staff members. I feel like Alina is just particularly susceptible to the influence of these maniacs or something. Ridiculous tangent but I had to write these thoughts out lul. Artix if u read this I'm sure u can tell I'm PASSIONATE about ya'lls games... pls hire me and I'll fix everything haha

i like the backgrounds, but the detail on monsters is too "dense", it feels like when you tile a textue and make it finer, it doesnt line up

Yall gotta stop making aqw stay as a dress up game.. art style is a down grade cuz it's not flash anymore.. it's a whole different engine FINALLY.. fkin let them cook for now.. yall negativity wont even solve the problems as they still wont listen or cant do anything about it.. but atleast they making AQW as an mmo finally not another FashionQuestworlds

i feel like they are capping about transfering all maps im really scared alot of places only accessible by gamechat /join will not exist anymore and alot of nostalgia will cease to exist..

All i hope is they finally make a real mmo version of AQW and not another dressup grindfest game

Having no auto attack is not a big IMO. I have been smashing my "1" button for as long as I can remember even doing it without thinking as a habit.

its good we want to get old players back but it wont be enough to make AQ Infinity grow, so instead we should be looking at ways on how to get new players and for the future of AE. Everything is on the line on infinity

They should put built in bots or auto fights and manual fight for hard bosses like other chill games we're old we don't have the time to brainless spam our keyboards mindless farming is a hassle now

ew what is up with today AQW feet position that it dislocates as soon as there is a crouch or little bending position form characters? I mean look at the werewolf feet in AQ Infinity. Absolutely disappointing.

They should ve stick to original art...it looks to exagerated ..i don t like the art at all

i agree but even if they stick w the original art it wouldnt be the same as flash aqw art and it woud look very outdated for new players in these times
