definitely hard to move on from games that you've been playing for a longer time. sold my wizard101 account about a year ago after thousands of hours, 15 years, and have had moments of regret but definitely glad to not be playing it anymore moving on to better and bigger games. warframe is such a good game though i definitely can recommend.

I don't agree with you regarding the story part. Sure it doesn't have the charm and nostalgia that the chaos lord saga had but the story is getting darker, more complex and directed to an older audience. Honestly I am really enjoying it. You got to read all the quest text, NPC text and cutscenes. But if you going to skim through and do not bother reading then you are not going to enjoy the story that much.

Darkon was great, but the newest story line is in my opinion lazy and simple. But it’s also just not a lot of content to cover due to the small dosages they release content in.

What about Age of Wushu?

“career suicide” is the perfect way to put it. honestly that could’ve been the entire video because even with the release of infinity, attraction to the gameplay will decide the success of the company and in its current state, gameplay is an undisguised hard core grind with a heavy p2w culture that is necessary for the game life. regardless of what you decide to do, this is clearly an informed decision that i support. (hop on rocket league w me 😏, i subbed to a guy who went from 1k to 10k in a few days)

Try wuthering waves or genshin impact. Its 4 party set up, elemental reactions, have a good stories, and grind for RNG to become stronger and seeing big numbers.

Once you got the best gear . You feel empty and just leave the game for another time

I'm glad that i use auto clicks in my phone to farm every enhancement , meta class and weapons in this game i even pre-farm RGOW, now i only play for weekly bosses for those insignias. time to move on there are a lot of good games out there and gacha too. I'm currently enjoying playing palworld and wuthering waves GG you had a good run in this game

Playing nothing but this is game can drive anyone insane especially since it isn't even good. I know because I did it constantly with DragonFable on a store bought laptop for nearly 10 years. When I got a gaming PC and better games I stopped playing for 3 years. To be honest I'm close to doing that again.

Instead of making the aqw infinity which is no one likes and probably no one will play and they spend too much time on it, idk they should hire the guy that makes the aqw mobile that they put down, make it up again and move on instead of making aqw infinity which takes infinity to finish. Make more game events rather than waiting for new items every week and doing the same thing everyday.

Well you have reached the soft cap for endgame content, I understand you saying its all the same, but it has always been the same, even when you started 2 months back, the sole diference was you actually got more dopamine because you had goals to be reached more often. You still miss like half of the epic badges and other stuff, like RgoW, eclipse dungeon, dark carnax cape, bone altar etc... You can take time off if you feel burned out, but there is still stuff to do and farm, at least for you. Most of the effort you spent this last 2 months was in my opinion to catch up to early endgame players. not to reach endgame. Well even me who started 6 months back, I am still weekly capped on my progression because I miss nulgath and dage insignias to finish getting the remaining empowered caladbolgs and for nulgath im still missing like 5 51% weapons from him.

Yeah, but I can complete everything the game throws at me right now, RGoW for example I can get but I do not need it. Same with most 51% weps now, at first, get multiple helped, but now there is really not a reason to obtain anymore. + Weekly time gates and just overly bloated farms make the game boring.

On steam alone there is 83,000 people online right now, and then there is xbox, playstation and war frames own client :3 I don't think it qualifies for the title of dead game.

I won't lie, I was amazed people even still played it this game with its whale like system and linniar playstyle. Legit loved it as a kid but it's kinda like watching someone play with expensive toys and when it's your turn, you look at yourself and go.... why did I want this when I could have I could have played with something else.... personally I just enjoyed your ramble my dude hahaha
