I am incredibly late to the Donk party, but I thought it would be very interesting to see how he plays FACEIT games rather than pro matches. In this analysis, I wanted to uncover the little things - the details - that could help explain his dominance.

One of the best donk replays I’ve seen. Straight to the point with helpful tips on how to improve without putting out a 45 minute demo review for a match that took 28 minutes.

yeah. Please do that! we need more analysis. And game sense stuff!
This kind of overview of a players strengths is awesome, would love to see more.
I started using Donk’s crab walk in the opposite direction you peek when I watched how he played. I’ve also experienced better success with that technique.
4:11 crouch walking has the same accuracy as being crouched (better than standing) because you are still moving in the weapon's deadzone
@therealthev
3 күн бұрын
Tbf I understand what he means, technically the gun accuracy is the same but youre probably gonna have a harder time spraying down someone on long crouch walking than just standing/crouching
@targitausrithux2320

@@therealthevbecause the spray is in full swing though… not because of the crouch walk itself
Interesting. Would love to see some others like NiKo, ZyWoO. Maybe some lurkers like ropz or Jimpphat. IGLs would be cool too, like what do they actually do in random PUGs where they aren't necessarily calling anything at all.

This was so fricking well made. Wilson you gotta do more breakdowns of pro players in pug matches like this!
This is by far my favorite video you've ever made. I practiced the donk crouch strafe back thing in dm right away as well and got 3-4 kills straight away. Will definitely be utilizing this new skill so thanks!
This was insanely helpful.... please turn this into a series🤝
More videos like this please! I love these type of videos and also watch them from other channels but this one was really informative and to the point. Other channels often try to point out too many things that make it hard to remember what I actually learned but this video didn’t. You pointed out the main big things which is great!
Fantastic breakdown, covering just about every essential aspect of donk's game within 8 minutes. Can't wait to see you hit 100k subs :)
Fantastic video man! Yes please do more of these break downs!
I liked that you reviewd a faceit game and kept it simple
Awesome breakdown and analysis Wilson, would love more of these in the future. Keep it up dude!
this is the best demo review video I've ever seen, by applying these concepts in our own, i think it'll make self demo reviewing much more productive. Very good work!!!!
Great video :) Would love to see a video about frozen or ropz next 😍
Best demo analysis ive seen so far. Showing only the relevant part and bundling by topic instead of going chronologically is really big
I would love to see more content like this! Fantastic video 🎉
incredible video! i love this style of demo review, very clear and high quality. do one for elige next!
we NEED MORE analysis like THIS
Great stuff man. I think a video on Ropz doing his thing being a god tier lurker would be pretty cool if you wanted an idea of another video you could do.
very helpful, make more of these please!
i would absolutely love to see something like this for lurkers. that’s a role i end up fulfilling a lot and i’d love to see them finding these timings and opportunities
will try that opposite movement crouch thing
This is insanely insightful for new players like myself
Incredible breakdown, good content
Love this analysis
nice video, would love to see more like this
Perfect gameplay breakdown
You should do more of donk!!! Love this
great vid! best part is the length of this vid is optimal. I dislike watching demo review for like 20+ minutes :P yours is simple and clean!
Excellent video, I’d love to see more like this.
Amazing analysis of a prodigy player keep doing this please.
For his opponents it’s their hardest game of their lives. For Donk, it’s Tuesday
awesome detailed and easy to understand video thanks
AMAGAAAAAAD Wilson, this vid was insane man. Loved it. Keep up

I think this video gave me _some_ idea what to look for in my replays, thanks.

donk‘s crouch and move the opposite direction has been titled as the tarik step back by launders I believe. Tarik was also very good at this.

Yes. More videos like this please.
More videos like this please, a video on niko, zywoo, monesy would be interesting!
Dude this video is gold, thank you)
I heard about a theory about donk's peeking movement was because he used to play EU faceit with 90+pings in his hometown so he has to constantly play in peeking style
Since it wasn't mentioned, Crouch walking DOES NOT affect recoil in the sense you'd think, it only changes your crosshair placement relative to your target (i.e. the ops head). Moving left and right has no bearing on recoil or shot pattern relative to the amount moved. If you crouch walk to the left while firing, your aim only has to compensate for your relative movement. Crouch walking doesn't inherently make your accuracy poor, it just throws one-more, small variable into the mix
one thing about the schmovement is don't let the opponent hit you first so you won't get that aimpunch and not schmoving more
learned a lot thank you wilson
Def need some more
Such a good video!!
This is riDONKulous! Great video!
very nice video Wilsy
Yup, watching donk moving while shooting reminds me how I used to play Mortal Kombat.
i literally downloaded and watched this exact demo like 2 days ago to check out how he plays anubis lmao. he hits a crazy 1tap on A site also

I'm surprised donk is one of the first to utilise that mid-fight movement so effectively. Feels like every time I jump into a dm with pros nearly all of them crouch spray during fights but never really do it in their matches the same way donk does. I always talked about how effective crouch spraying while moving is so it's kind of satisfying seeing that I wasn't talking complete nonsense XD
what you are talking about at 4:00 kinda is called a tarik stepback
Thanks for the review. Though i want to ask, how were you able to get the replay of a random match donk played?
Amazing analysis. Definetly want to see other pros, choose anyone you want, you know better)
Nice reviews bro, keep feeding us ❤
thanks for the info definetely he is one of the greatest players and also very nice imperial plaid gloves
I play a lot like him. except im older and slower. and one thing I can say is to not copy what he does and the movements, but put yourself in your enemy's shoes. Think about what you would do if you were in their shoes and then do the opposite to counterbalance their flow. You will know you are doing it right when you notice people calling you a wallhacker more often.
Great video

There’s so many players in the 15-20k rank pool that tried to tell me that my intentionally unpredictable playstyle meant I was ‘bad’ at the game, and this video reminded me of how objectively wrong they were, and how much I laughed at their position on the scoreboard compared to mine 😂
great vid
He reacts faster, and doesnt afraid. His character affects his playstyle. A lot. He young, quick and restless, doesnt care about dying, he just want to win. There isnt much feelings in his style. He plays like a calculated robot. Effective and no need for sentimental.
amazing video
subscribed, just bc of this video
I've been watching a ton of povs of jks lately (due to him dominating his games). Would love to hear your thoughts on how he plays
Crazy vid
i feel like im already better after watching this for some reason
Make a video about Twistz or Elige and their lurk plays. Both are famous for their lurks.
Some next gen players will adopt this playstyle in the future.

I like thins lot to learn from the pro players
