The pump flow rate needs to match the skimmer opening for proper skimming over the entire opening 👍

Jaak great advice as usual, I bought a Aquascape small pond kit with Eco wave 2000 pump. l'm planning on building 2ft Waterfall and stream of 11ft x2 x2 but think pump won't be powerful enough now. I'm looking a moderate flow of 1500 gph at waterfall, would 2000-5000 SLD pump fit in 200 series skimmer in the kit? 🤔

this might seem a silly question but does the skimmer come with a pump? what skimmer/pump would you recommend for a pond 8m x 3m 1m deep? Id go to your shop or any aquascape one but im in the uk and very few options here!

It doesn't come with a pump. I would say a 1000 skimmer with a 5000 gph pump. Look up Any Pond in the UK!

Great video. Is it possible to install this on a preformed pond (plastic basin) instead of using a liner? I wonder if it might not seal as well. Thanks!

On the 200 series could you then attach the pump shown to another filter and then onto a waterfall feature ? I’m going to build a wildlife pond and want a skimmer and a waterfall but am unsure how to achieve this so any advice would be very much appreciated... regards .

Yes, you would run the plumbing from the skimmer to a biofalls filter to create your waterfall

If I buy the 1000 model, can I run 2 Tsurumi pumps in the one skimmer simultaneously? That is how my current setup is configured. The issue I am having is the skimmer has heaved and now minimizes the pond skimmer opening restricting the water flow. So with both lumps going at the same time, the water is being pumped out quicker than it is flowing in from the pond that the skimmer runs low and creates a suction noise that is super loud and very annoying! Anxious to hear your response... thx Myles

Jack I’m really interested to install at my backyard. Signature Series 1000 or 400 or 200 has water pump inside or do we have to buy extra water pump?

Silly question - I want to create a water and fishpond next year and use an aqua scape skimmer - is it ok to use a slimmer with fish or is there risk of them getting trapped inside , along with frogs etc ? Really hope i’m overthinking it and it’s safe to use 😁

I have a 400 series skimmer with a 3 inch check valve. I just bought a 4000 aquasurge pump. The 3” Check valve appears to be too tall to work.

I have ordered the Sig Series 400 and SLD 2000 - 5000 pump. I plan to run the pump at the lower volumes. 1) will the SLD pump fit in the 400 skimmer and 2) will this work even if I set the volume to 5000?

The skimmer should be able to handle the flow coming in.

Your product has a good design but I think necesitas you need to look for a material or color that makes it look better quality is my opinion

That is max for a 1000 skimmer

can i use the 400 skimmer with a pump which is more than 4000 gph(i.e- the capacity of the skimmer)??
