Aquarium No Drill Outflow System from This Old House
Hello all! Today I want to share with you a system I created from the inspiration from @MDFishTanks. He was using a pump to pull water out of his tanks like a vacuum so I thought wouldnt that be great to have it on all my tanks and not have to pull the pump out and move around all the time. Well I built it last year before I moved so Nathan aka Aquatic Peace would have a easier transition to deal with all the aquariums he bought when he purchased our house. Hope you all enjoy! If you love clean Homebred top quality aquatics and rarities check out the site below. Thanks for watching! :D

There are over 8000 actual real living human beings who society has no clue they exist on this planet. No paper trail, birth certificates, etc. How's your day going?
Wesley mocking you @0:34 in his baby voice is well worth that watch. LOL🤣

Hey no prob bro. Glad to see you around you have been killing it on your channel! Very impressive keep up the awesome work!
Great vid. BTW 16ft max head means head height to indicate the maximum vertical height (measuring how high the water can be pumped), and not how far across.
Chasing them Neon Rainbows, and living that multi tank dream! 👍
I always take into account the size of my hose, and make sure it's of a suitable size for the job in front of me...! Thanks for the way back machine, it was fun...! Keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...!
Christmas Spirit cameo at the end! Cool system, can't wait to see it in operation.
love you man, you're brilliant
Awesome, you must do more videos. The fish whisperer! I hate that I can not buy from you.... Really hate it, becaause we love so many of the same fish! Great video Buddy! ✌
Cool update, thanks!!!
Fun to revisit the old setup!

I thought so as well :)
Awesome video as always.
And can you please do a All aquarium update. like atleast 1 hour long. A video like that for me is like what "Star Wars" fans get when they gpo to the theater. I would prepare snacks and the longer the better 😄Do like I do know, just film first take, no edit no rendering. That is how I can manage to have the time to upload now. Really good cellphone camera. Samsung Galaxy S 21+. It saves me like 400% of the time.
Great update! I have a handful of tanks but still need to figure out a better strategy for water changes.

Yes!! Funny thing is I have 4 browsers like that. They help me to remember things for the future and past on many subjects.
Just in case anyone else was tripping out on the fittings vs hose size…The 1/2” compression fittings had me scratching my head with the 1” ID hose but I went to Home Depot yesterday and saw that they sell the DIG fittings and they are 1/2” compression fittings for 1/2” OD hose BUT the OD of the fittings is 1” and fits perfectly inside 1” ID hose.

Sorry for spamming, but comments are good for the old You Tube algoritm🙂 Are you still going to big a huge pond at your new place?

Your right spam away it all helps :) I do currently have 5 real big ponds in the yard but will be building other that are more for aquarium fish. One may even be salt. Lots of big plans for the future!

When I open the "Items I use/Amazon links" it does not load anything. What is the pump you use to pull the water out?

The garden/well pump I recently got is 1.5 hp from Vevor under $100. Been awhile since I’ve updated the items I use.
Do you use the pump to pump the water out of the tanks into the 30 gallon bucket, then pump it out of the bucket???

No to risky and messy for me I just siphon out. Could get a hand pump siphon too
Is there a video showing how you empty and fill your tanks at your new house not the lines but the pumps them selves I seen all your videos on making the lines but nothing on how you are putting water in and out

The new system in the barn is close to being done and sure I will be showing it plenty in the future. I didnt get chance to shoot an exchange from the old house because I was finishing it just as I was selling it.

With a garden pump it pulls the water out of the tank. Just don’t buy the ones from Vevor.
so there is a part 2 of the system in action ? :)

Yes. Because it wasnt my house when I finished the project it was a last minute thing I crunched in during the move and didnt get the shot, it was a hectic time lol. But wanted to share either way. I will be showing it soon in the future on a new system Im building right now as I mentioned at the end of the video.

I recently got the last ones from vevor search for 1.5 hp garden pumps and you can find your best option
Don't dump it on the yard unless you like mowing every day.
Is it me, or did he not show how the outflow system works?

I didn't mean anything negative Luca, I watch your videos all the time. Just was expecting to actually see how it worked. Need to do something similar in my fish room.
Pump it to a garden. Fish poop = big veggies
