Fishy fishy fishy... 😂😂😂 Really good stuff and a great inspiration. Just digged in a 500 gallon pond into the garden. Now I'm waiting for the spring to give my barbes a bit more room to swim around...
If electricity wasn't so expensive in my country, I would definitely be doing something like this :)
you reminded me of my 4yr old grandson when he visits us he has to go to the guppy tank because his fish have to give him kisses. Diana Hande
Nice guppies and pond I have a 10 gallon shrimp tank that is outside and have 3 30 to 60 gallon heater on it to keep it warm my first time Breeding shrimp so far I have 2 Berried females I can’t way to a tud and put plants in a pond so I can have more
Love the guppy pond,.👍✌
Very cool Lucas great colors in these ponds !!! WE need to do out door Ponds
super cool.
It's so cool to see all those colorful guppies! I just ordered a pair of Fire and Ice from you!
Cool pond👍🏻👍🏻😄😄
Just found out you'll be at gpasi meet up in March I'm pumped can't wait!
Thanks for the update.
This is so cool!! Thanks for sharing. 👍
Awesome thanks for sharing!
Awesome update!!
Love these setups man! Can't wait to move and have more room to play around with stuff like this!
btw,I can see why nobody with a "name" would post on aquarium boards. Those moderator people are so set against not just a better way, they hate to even hear of another way! Been keeping fish for 45 years and I even worked in Natural sciences and Biological sciences for local museum and a University. Including managing the University's greenhouse and the Museums aquatic displays, with 100,000 gallon pond. According to the mods, its "What do you know?"..lol
Great update video, the guppies are beautiful.
Thanks for the video! For those of us that have never had ponds, it is interesting to see how that works. Thanks again, Jim
Awesome dude
Really cool! I'm looking forward to setting up my 10x10 pond liner in the yard. I'm using hay bales for structure and digging down into yard.
Love it how you cut yourself off in the edits sometimes, intended or not I still give it a chuckle/10. Nice ponds btw.
Nice
Interesting project. Love the Guppy pond...
Wow really nice on the guppy pond. Thanks man
I wonder about those electric bills sometimes :)
Love the heated set up. I start getting getting pretty sad during the winter season so maybe I should try a heated set up outside, hmmm
cool Lucas!!!

There was a couple of white clouds I couldn’t catch from my tub before winter, I’m curious to see how they’ve done.
Awesome but I wonder how much you spend to hear them That’s a lot of heaters
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 🤠
👍👍✌

I hope Greta the sail boat traveler doesn't see this.😂 I love it personally.
LRB do you have video on how you set up the outdoor tubs? Like how you mounted the heater . No one I've seen has gone into detail on this subject. I live in the south USA and it is usually mild winter here

I did build this before I started youtube but I do have a video ,in my playlist for my heated pond I will pin it in comments, that I did discuss it.
Used to live in Indy and collect live tubifex and daphnia from Fall Creek , i imagine it's too polluted now eh ? There used to be huge schools of goldfish in there as well .

Interesting, I didnt know that. That would be cool to see!

@@LRBaquatics They used to sell the goldfish for bait and fishermen would just dump the excess out when they went home , they thrived and multiplied . In summer when water was low you could see them coming from a distance from the Meridian street bridge.
I thought I had a lot of guppies 😱
I have two 120 gallon horse troughs I put goldfish in usually but I want to try cherry shrimp in one this summer do you think they would do ok
I had five blue velvet shrimp. They all passed away? It's 73 in a planted tank. Sad face
So due to some fighting I couldn't address by moving decorations around I had to move a bala shark that I had rescued into my indoor painted turtle pond. Seems to be doing great, active and eating. However this is unheated and holds 70 in the winter and 76 in the summer with almost no fluctuation. This also houses a few goldfish. Should I add a heater for the bala even though the goldfish shouldn't have it or is 70 going to be alright for 6 months of the year? Anyone with any thoughts feel free to share them. I'm just learning as I go and this video seemed like a place to find people with some experience with keeping fish outside of "normal" temps.
Is there any secret to breeding the gold whiteclouds!! I've tried the aquatic plant bin method, I've tried moss, mops, and lots of plants, and I've filled the bottom of the tank with rocks to hope the eggs gets scattered throughout them and some live (even with the fish in the plant basket). Nothing!! Haven't had one fry in almost 6 months!!! I even kept them outside in a small 20 gallon patio pond all summer and still didn't get any fry!

Im not sure but for me its been a seasonal thing and I still have not pinpointed it. But at the same time have seen people like Charlie Grimes who community breeds them....
Hey Lucas I can't believe how nice that guppy grass looks! How can I acquire some of that from you buddy? I haven't ordered anything alive before so if you can tell me what to do appreciate it!😊 I have tons of Highfin Swordtail of all kinds and theyr e eating 80% of the fry😢 I have a ton of plants, but a breeder friend told me guppy grass works great for him🤔Thanks!✌🌿🍃🌿

Eddy, you can also use hornworth, works great for me.

@@WaterWizard1 Yeah I have ,but it became real messy in my tanks, and the Guppy Grass becomes like a impenetrable ball so they can't get to them it seems!🤔👍

Guppy grass and hornwort can work but my favorite is pearly weed it stays more compact. Also you will need to cover the bottom and top of the tank because at night the babies will sleep at the bottom. Rock piles help too. I do have all these plants available on my website www.lrbaquatics.com
Hey, do you know something about OFR?

That’s much less than I expected! My fish room is around 2000 gallons and I’m around $200 in Chicago suburbs.
no heater or air or pump going in the guppy pond?
@LRBaquatics

Just heaters
Are you not afraid of raccoons lifting off the tops and getting to the fish?
You just need one of those temperature guns from Amazon. $25 and all you do is aim it at the pond or aquarium...from what I hear. Whew! your electric bill!..you might as well build a greenhouse Lucas..you got the room, recycled materials to save big bucks..or a greenhouse sponsor.

I have a couple of those guns but they arent very accurate. Yeah wish I could build a proper greenhouse but HOA wont have it. Im trying to move to a tropical island so I can really farm.
