I own this exact bike, got mine July 30th. I could not be more impressed thus far. The rear brake did squeal like crazy at first but the dealership sorted it out at my first service. Truly a BLAST to ride! 👍

im jealous! this is 100% the best street bike i have ridden so far... hearing such good things about it aswell which makes me happy where its aprilia! I wish i couldve had more time with the bike but unfortunatley im not allowed any more first rides because they do not condone my 'hooligan behavior' 💀 how else am i supposed to test ride a bike? ride around at 30mph round town lol but anyway we all know its a green screen and crazy cgi work from my professional editor...

I got mine July 30th As well. What did the dealer do to fix ur rear brake? New pads didnt fix mine

@@WL2KJust had mine serviced at Wheels in Peterborough. They fixed the squeaky rear break for me. Quick fix. I think there’s an advisory note from Aprilia about it. I believe they move the pads forward somehow, but check with a proper Aprilia dealership mechanic to be sure.

After watching it, I don't even have to test-ride it🙃🙃 I will just buy one! Great review.🤤

My UK brother welcome to the 660 Tuono. Coming off a Touno V4 at first I didn't like it (oops I bought the wrong bike) nope. 6,000 miles later I love love love this thing. I can ride the crap out of this thing, and it can be as mellow or as nutty as you want. I have the base model with a quick shifter and IMU added but I want the Factory next. The fully adjustable suspension must just be unreal since the stock is so good. I am 6' and 200lbs and I can ride it all day. I have been putting 150 to 250 miles on it every Sunday with no problems and I am an old fart, 56 years old. Aprilia nailed but with my past experience with the brand I will trade it in for the factory when the warranty is done (no shot at Aprilia but it is not a Honda). I am sure it will run for many miles but the way I ride it, 7,000-10,000 all the time I have my doubts. Mine is a 2021 and I am sure Aprilia will work any bugs out by 2013.

Haha I want more of it I had a chat with the guy after comparing both v4 and 660 which if it’s long enough video and good enough I will release that after I upload the v4 factory video But you already know which bike was more fun… lol the 660 is a perfect street bike I actually think it is It’s addicting but you can actually use it you can bang up through the gears throw it about and still have a premium ride feel 100%, Today I’m taking the brutales and am most looking forward to the 800rr triple But the 660 sits in such a sweet spot 100hp twin is just so nice haha so much fun, The factory is the only one I rode and yeh a hour ride it was perfect, would love to spend a day with it or a week daily riding and really get to know it I don’t think the bike has been here long enough to get the attention it deserves, bit of a price tag but you do get every penny’s worth

@@donniebaynard8430 thank you man👊 yeh got fed up of all the boring reviews had to get out there and do it myself 💀 I’m glad you enjoyed the video I got the v4 factory dropping tomorrow and took out the MV Augusta dragster rosso & the brutale 800rr today, that 800rr is a ANIMAL! I’m about 180lb and 5’10/11 I honestly don’t think you will have a problem with this bike, it’s so firm and fully adjustable suspension so I’m sure you can get it set up for how you would like it no problem Would definitely recommend getting a test ride if possible as it is an expensive bike for this class of bike but at the same time, you get every penny’s worth, and if aprilia have upped there reliability on this bike and it’s actually reliable long term which so far all I have heard is good things from people who have done 5000-10,000 ish miles fingers crossed it’s good!! But like I said, you shouldn’t have a problem height wise it’s not as aggressive as a v4 but it is a sporty setup in the pegs The bars are perfect, like for me the riding position is exactly what I could ask for The bike is so firm, it’s not like getting on a mt07 where it just bounces around everywhere haha this bike is the real deal Let me know how you get on if you manage to take one for a test ride, I would like to know your opinion on it and your experience, would be good!👊

Those bikes are lovely, i had an old 2011 tuono aprc v4r and that was stupid quick/handled like a champ. Tried the RS660 and its just insane for backlanes it rips! Riding one makes you want one ;) ahaha

Haha I want to take the 660 for a day so bad! I took the brutale 800rr out today and that was just MENTAL, that was crazier than the v4 LOL but still for me that 660 factory is undefeated, especially here in the UK, if I was in America near nice roads then the v4 might be rideable, but here you just can’t use it I have a video on the v4 dropping tomorrow 👊 thanks for your comment!

@@TARZANMotoVlogs Honestly man the 660 rips... Aprilia make stunning bikes but they are hard graft but one of the best handling bikes out there, If you spent time on a V4 it feels like your on a 125 with 170+hp and they only weigh like what 180kg 😂

best experience on a street bike i have ever had 👊 100hp parallell twin is so nice, perfect power for the street with all the tech the top bikes on the market have got, this is a very good riding experience start to finish. Im very interested for tomorrow riding the brutale 800rr and also trying to take the mt09sp out aswell as i really want ot try the triples and see how it feels compared to a 100hp twin

@@TARZANMotoVlogs the next bike I but will have to based off of test rides. It annoyed me that I couldn't test ride my mt07 as my first bike. Luckily I love the thing but I've only got a sv650 to compare it to. Has it been simple enough to book test rides or do you have to use your "celebrity 😉" to sway them into giving you a shot?

I drove for some time the rs 660 during my drivers licence and I was struggling to find the pedal for the rear brakes. At the beginning of the video seems like you had a hard time finding the pedal for the rear brakes. Since I haven’t tried the tuono yet I was wondering if this was really the case for you. I’m considering to get myself a tuono factory 660

i cant remmeber it being a problem i just rmemeber the brake being very soft which i think is a common thing for the aprilias, i would highly reccomend the tuono 660 factory tho i think its actually the best bike i have ever ridden as far as a do it all bike couldnt find one bad thing about it at all, 100hp parralel twin or 105 whatever it is, perfffffect amount of power for street bike, efforltess to ride, handles perfect, feels light and nimble, if i had money for another bike / no youtube channel lol cause id need the v4 for hype, off camera id take the 660 all day sooo much fun

Thanks man was unsure about how people would respond to these first rides and reviews but the feedback is good so you can definikty expect more! I will drop the v4 factory video next… and then resume a bit with the supermoto content for a few videos But tomorrow I am filming with the mv Augusta brutale 800rr and the 1000rr I think I can take the rs660 and the rsv4 aswell we will see And then hopefully the mt range and the speed and street triple That will probably be all the first rides I can do this year on 2022 bikes 👊 if it goes well tho I’m sure they will allow me to take out the 23s when the next season starts

no worries man im still here! haha thanks for watching and commenting, the 701 is just a completely different bike, it will just depend on where you spend most time riding and your riding style and the purpose of the bike, the 660 is much better for a do it all bike its nimble, got enough power all the way through, stable at higher speeds, all the tech you could ever need and cruise control, power delivery is very smooth swell, the factory in the video is 104hp I think I could be wrong its been a while, where the non factory is maybe 95? I can't rmemebe... the 701 is a PHAT single and 74hp stupidly light for a street bike which makes it so fun, but unless you want to do wheelies and hit twisties I would go for the 660, you can daily the 660, hit the track, hit the twists, go shops, go work, travel, the 701 is very limiting compared to it, if you can take the 660 for a spin its an amazing motorcycle and I still think its one of the best I have ridden possibly number 1

@@TARZANMotoVlogs Hey man thanks for the good answer! I actually have Tenere 700 I run daily purely for city, canyons here in Los Angeles. I previously had a DRZ400sm which i converted to 460 big bore which was tons of fun. Love supermotos, always loved 701s thats why I was curious but the 660 factory did catch my eye too. Thinking of getting a 2nd bike to attack our California Canyons/100 mile street days that would be better than the Tenere. But the Tenere surprising does an amazing job!! just a little top heavy..

@@whitneyrides ahhhh ok so its for a second bike, in that case its just going to depend purely on riding style, you won't find much better for carving up corners than a 701, it changes direction so fast, the Conti attacks it comes with are perfect and made specifically for the bike I think, the new ones got quick shift and flipper I think and traction control maybe from 2020 onwards... the 690 will have it from 2019 models onwards, I think the 701 will go much better along side the Tenere and give you what your looking for, by the sounds of it you got hooligan energy and the way your be able to throw the 701 about will make it more fun, I think the tuono 660 would be more neutral and predictable, more of a sport bike feel, but the 701 will bring more fun flicking it about, wheel coming up every corner exit, can lean into the bend or move the bike around underneath you, handles bumps no problem as well the suspension is very good, still good fun at slower speeds too and around town

I couldn’t wheelie this thing to save my life haha I tried but nothing that I would call a wheelie would need to spend some time with it and even still the footbrake is TERRRRRRIBLE worst thing about the bike is the footbrake haha only bad thing about it

@@TARZANMotoVlogs In the settings there is a thing called anti-wheelie, it's enabled by default in commute mode i think

8:00 you can't wheelie bcs of the mode, you can see on the dashboard it's flashing red bcs electronics kicks in edit : you found it later by changing the mode :D Nice vid !

The torque I think it pretty similar, this bike felt like the gears might be a little longer and the main difference in power that I can think of without riding both back to back, is that this bike just kept pulling where as the mt07 dies out, very very different feel bike it’s mad because I don’t even think you could compare this bike to it’s competitors it’s literally like it’s in it’s own lane 100hp twin Amazing bike I was blown away by it I would love to have one out for a day or a week to really see what it’s like

An Aprilia with a clutch like a Honda 😂 My Honda Varadero has the lightest clutch ever and its cable one finger job all day long. My only reservation with Aprilia they are normally quite fast but not the most reliable bikes. Especially the smaller 125's kids buy them because they are (quite fast for a 125) but they never seem to last two minutes.

Haha looks like the one on my bike but 100x lighter Yeh reliability issues is all I hear about Aprilia lol but hopefully one day they sort it out, Riding one for a hour and living with one for 6 months are very different things I would love to have one of these bike for a long term bike loan or something to really live with it and see what they are like and be able to swap every 6 months find the perfect bike haha

@@TARZANMotoVlogs I just bought one of these from the dealership, but stuck out of town at work and have not even got to ride her yet. But my understanding is wheelie control is on or off. No settings. Kinda wish there was a few settings so I could wheelie with out going all the way over hahah. I have not been in a bike in 20 years so I’ll be taking it easy for a bit.

I was thinking about the RSV4 but I put my ego aside and knew it would kill me with my current skill level, But I’d like to get one in a few years once I’m super confident in my abilities I’m stuck at work till august 4th. So my new bike will sit untouched till then. 😞

I felt like Bambi for the first few minutes 🤣 I was legit scared, but just got back for a hour long ride and I can tell it’s high quality and makes riding very fun and enjoyable, it’s kinda windy on it but nothing crazy, I don’t have anything to compare it too other then a dirt bike when I was a kid. But sounds lovely with the stock exhaust, a SC would be nice though.
