April Garden Tour 2024
Hi! My name is Crane. In this video, I will share with you how my flower gardens are going in mid-spring, some gardening tips, landscape ideas.
About Me: I grow cut flowers in my suburban cottage home garden in a naturalistic style in New Jersey Zone 7. I make garden bouquets and sell at the roadside stand in front of my house. I also grow all kinds of vegetables and, sometimes, cook. I grow ornamental landscape plants and trees as well as create sanctuary for wildlife, birds, insects, etc. Thank very much for visiting my channel. Any question, please let me know in the comment.

Crane, you always touch my heart, one way or another. My dear mother has been gone five years now; she was born one hundred years ago! I grow many of the flowers she used to grow even some she passed down to me that were given to her by her mother and her mother before her (back to my great grandmother)! Flowers evoke so many memories for me and you reminded my of that with this video. Thank you!

Lovely. I enjoy your gentle ways. Deep connections with family and honouring their memory through rituals and flowers is so healing. I have many trees and perennials and one blueberry bush planted in memory of people I love. When I tend to the plants I often feel their presence and I’m grateful for having known them. You’re a beautiful soul. The world is a better place with you in it. 🌿

The property is so beautiful. I love to see all the green! I live in the desert so the green fills my soul. And yes you’re right, flowers create such a connection between people. Thanks for letting us see the entire garden and thanks to the camera man as well who got stuck in the “vegetable” garden.

Another amazing video! Thank you so much Crane for putting out such beautiful content. Everything you said about the flowers is true. I'm so happy that the flowers help remind you of your grandmother. Those we loved never truly leave us, they are here in spirit and in our hearts. My dog Lila recently passed away last February and I planted several roses in her name and now I will have those beautiful roses to remind me of her every day. Thanks again for such an uplifting video :)

I planted candytuft this week. It was one of my moms favorite plants. It always grew on the edges of her gardens for as long as I can remember. She told me my grandmother won a garden contest one year and her garden was edged with candytuft and basket of gold. It was a winning combination!😊 I thought of both of them as I planted it. Thanks for another beautiful video!❤️
I completely agree, flowers do connect us
Your garden is waking up so beautifully. I love 💕 your cottage and the meaning behind it. I hope when I move I have someone like you and Jason to honor my home and make it as special. 🌼🐝

Hi Crane, your bouquets for the flower stand are devine. I like your garden. Those tulips are pretty. I love you very much. Your great personality is a combination of a youthful spirit that makes you unique and special and a mature sense of relationships. I find that you have plenty shrubs you can use for foliage and fillers. That is wonderful. I was already looking forward to your video.

So much space! Love it. Thanks for the tour, Crane.
Very nice, wish you the best garden friend ❤😊
She’d a couple of tears for what you said about planting flowers that your loved ones loved. My dad always had zinnias and cosmos in his garden so I always direct sow them every year. Loved the tour You and Jason have done such a beautiful job with the garden. A couple of seasons ago I direct sowed Larkspur. Very beautiful and invasive. I just thin them and never have to plant them again. Thank you for your channel ❤
Beautiful gardens. Always feel uplifted after watching your videos. ❤
Another beautiful tour! I loved what you said about flowers and growing them for our loved ones who are no longer here. Your Grandmother is adorable - thank you so much for sharing her with us! Happy Spring from your fellow NJ Gardener friend!

Good morning Crane, thank you for another lovely video! I woke up this morning so sore and my back/neck hurts from a landscape project we worked on yesterday. But watching your video this morning made me so happy and helped me shake off the lack of motivation (because my body is so sore lol). You have a beautiful spirit about you & truly appreciate you! 🤗 Wishing you both a wonderful weekend! - Sheri xoxo

SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!! ❤❤❤
nice
Thank you so much for an other stunning video, that made my day bright!!! I am so happy to hear, that your ranunculus worked out well at last, after the trouble they made you this spring and the last years! But: don't fence Jason too often in the vegetable garden, he won't be weeding for you there anyway, I'm afraid ;))) (But I'll although try the trick with my friend, one never knows :))) ). And: ... groundhogs ... one can't live with them, but without them also someone's missing 🤷🏻♀️ I hope they are fine! Last but not least: I so much agree with your kind words about the flower-connection between people! Also had to think at my grandma!! I also share my chicken-adiction with her (you would also love them and they are eating those nakedsnales, by the way ;) ). I'm thankful that flowers connected us both through continents, what I love so very much!!! Sunny weekend to you and Jason, my bright flowerfriends!!! Greetings from denmark! 🤗🌻🌸💐🐝

I feel for you about the deers eating the plants. For us,we tried to keep plants that were supposed to be deer deterrent....instead Bambi and his friends come for buffet for every single leaf of the deer deterrent plants. As if saying, "ใบนี้ไม่อร่อย ให้ฉันลองอีกใบเพื่อความแน่ใจ" 55555
