Apricot and Goat Cheese Canapes: A Great Hors d'Oeuvres Idea!

January 9 is National Apricot Day and we have a recipe for apricot and goat cheese canapes that you're going to enjoy all year long -- not just when apricots are in season.
You'll especially love these canapes if you've ever been looking for new hors d'oeuvres ideas that your guests will keep talking about long after event's over.
Here's what you'll need:
Apricot and Goat Cheese Canapes
Ingredients
8 Dried Apricot Halves
1 Tbsp Goat Cheese
1 Tsp Maple Syrup
1/2 oz Crushed Almonds
2 Fresh Basil Leaves
In a Mixing Bowl, combine the goat cheese, maple syrup and almonds, and mix together.
Top goat cheese mixture onto apricot halves.
Chiffonade (finely cut) the basil leaves and garnish the canapes.
