Approach to and landing in Honolulu

Last year, I spent a week on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. After a long, 16 hour flight, nonstop from Washington Dulles International (IAD) aboard a United Airlines (UAL) Boeing 767, here is the approach to and landing at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). Formerly known as Honolulu International Airport, this is one of the world’s largest, busiest and most beautiful airports according to the government website.
The lady sitting behind me must be very important - you can hear her phone pinging even while we were still in the air. She must have gotten permission from the captain and the airline and I figure it was probably the president calling and texting just to make sure she had made it safely to Hawaii.
I changed planes here in Honolulu for a brief flight with Hawaiian Airlines over to Lihue Airport on Kauai.
Anyway, enjoy. This is the full, unedited video shot from my iPhone 12 Pro.
