No, I wouldn't purhase this watch. Maybe in another life. But I/we only have one life so, alas, I'll never be a triathalete in need of such a watch as the Apple Watch Ultra.

I have the newest Ultra, coming from an Aluminium 40mm ProductRED Series 6 so quite a BIG upgrade in. size, quality, battery etc and with the Trail Loop thats really comfy! The BEST Apple Watch I’ve ever owned!

I love my ultra. I definitely recommend checking out the alpine loop band too. it's super comfortable.

Just got it this morning and it’s even nicer in person than I was expecting. Can’t wait to take it on my next diving trip.

Me too, but for using it like a diving computer you need the oceaninc + app and for that you need a subscription

I recently bought this week 15th August 2023

I switched from Samsung to Apple just to get the Ultra. Worth every penny. It is a tank, fits smaller than you would think and paired with the trail loop it’s a dream! Battery life is great. Love not having to charge it everyday.

I have a series 7 but struggling to resist getting this

ordered mine october 5th arrives wednesday oct 12th cant wait i went with orange alpine loop one im so stoked

Looks great. I have the 45mm S7 and love it. Bought my wife one & gave it to her early for Christmas. I’ll trade mine in next yr for the next Ultra

While I like the Ultra ...Its not something I would purchase. I like the sleek and dainty look of watch 45mm 8 in stainless steel, while I use my 7 for workouts..... I plan to get the orange band though .. I just would not wear the Ultra everyday .... its way too chunky for my tiny wrists..

I would definitely consider getting this watch if it’s custom made for standing up to what someone would do during a workout. So it’s waterproof and shock absorbent? If I do get it, hopefully I won’t take one eternity like you did at around 8:10! 😆 looking forward to the next vid Sophie! 😊

I don’t have an actual need for ultra and will stick to series 7 for another year, but next year I will seriously consider getting it ….this deep blue band …it does look very tempting :)

I got the ultra because I’m a runner and instead buying all them other watch’s this is great for a lot of reasons I gave my 7 Apple Watch to my son

I loved it at first, then got the 41 series 8 and I feel like I reach for it way more and like it a lot more. I do like a big screen but it just sits so high off the wrist… and slides around on me due to that. Regardless of band. Are you still loving yours?

My boyfriend is the one using the Ultra but our wrists are very similar sizes, and he loves it! I've always had the larger of the series 5, 6 and 7 so I'm used to the larger sizes so the Ultra didn't feel too different to me. I can imagine it must get annoying if it's sliding around though!

@@sophiedodsworth yea it’s just slightly wider then my wrist itself, I do love how clean and clear the screen looks lol. Wearing it around the house is fine but can’t see wanting to often enough to warrant the cost… have a few days to decide about it 😭

I know it is a massive watch. But how does it feel wearing the watch with a female wrist? The size looks intimidating for small wrist .. thank you!

Honestly it felt just like my 45mm series 7! I didn't notice that it felt bigger or heavier on my wrist. My wrist I think is around 17cm and I'm a size 7 in the solo loop bands if that helps 😌

You mentioned at 5:05 in that the new iPhones have braided charge cables, if that's true why didn't Apple include a braided charge cable with my brand new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max? Should I contact Apple and find out why?
