It has 120hz display, has 4 camera setups and a big screen. And the price u can buy for itt is around 400$ while apple is selling their outdated looking phone for 400$. See what i mean? EX8MG3 I think once you own the A01 and actually live with it you will realize how much of a cheap shit phone it is. I had Samsung’s J7 (2nd gen) from Verizon and after I tried to trade reasonably sized pictures with a girl who was using an iPhone, and I had to wait several minutes for them to download through mms I was done. Plus it has carrier bloatware and ads would pop up out of nowhere.

Ok so I do prefer Android phones though your points are invalid the Samsung a01 actually has worst battery life due to optimization so it clocks in at 4 hours while the iPhone Se can get up to 12-14 hours each day and don't forget that the Samsung a01 has 3000 mah and the iPhone Se has 1960 mah also some people prefer and smaller screen because they have boss baby hands or they just want a more portable device and don't forget about the 6 year support while Samsung phones can only get up to 1-2 years of full os support

This really makes me realize that samsung has so many options for budget phones, midrange, and high end, all with great specs. The a series is pretty budget, the s series is more high end at this point. The note series I dont know much about but they are really nice. The j series is outdated but still a good phone for those who dont use devices a lot.

I've "tested" my friends phones, (a50, a40 and a21) and I would even trade my 6s for them. The only thing they're better at really is just battery and screen

Durability of the Samsung, if not all androids, is weak compared to iOS devices though in regards to the OS. This is often neglected in those comparisons since it is almost impossible to prove while still being relevant for the consumer: in 4 years when the iPhone se still runs quite good and have the latest OS, and Samsung’s phone is slow and unreliable, people simply don’t care about the Samsung anymore because no one use it or can buy it

Imagine, 13 years ago the only option for a proper smartphone was the expensive first iPhone, now you have countless brands with countless models and units and concepts, all of which are in different price ranges.

I’m going to have to get it looked at after quarantine is over. My battery capacity is at 100 percent, so it could just be the bugfest that is iOS. Meanwhile, I can use my old iPhone 7 without this happening.

One thing that I find doesn’t get mentioned enough is software updates. That tells a great story of how long you will live with a device. And I’d say that with the chip and updates you’ll have the iPhone 4x longer then you’ll keep the Samsung.

Is the A01 different in other countries? Or is it the type of phone you get? I have an A01 with a c-type charging port but in the video its micro (or whatever was in the video lol) also the speaker is moved up

The A01 also doesn’t have an ambient light sensor. You have to manually brighten the screen outside.

You could probably give the A01 pics a face-lift with a photo editing program thar will make it shoot way above its price range and maybe even compete with the SE, especially considering the comparable sensors in both phones, with the A01 having slightly worse optics.

I bought an iPhone SE and I saw a lot of people talking about the battery, but it’s actually not that bad. Considering that I’m a student and don’t heavily use it for social media or gaming, the battery is pretty good. The specs, like he said, is not even close😂. For the value, definitely worth it if you have the 400 something bucks. This is my mini review for it in case anybody is still hesitant on getting the SE. Have a great day everyone!

easily a solid device to entice those people still using the iPhone 5s-7 to upgrade if they really enjoy the form factor....battery life is even a good improvement > the aforementioned. Personally if i was interested in buying it tho i'd have to be using it on Low power mode 24/7. even still with battery being a concern people could dish out more and get a better value with the XR or 11

you get an A13 on the iPhone. Normally I wouldn’t consider apple but something better than a sdm865 and well polished iOS for about 500 bucks is a steal tbh, although for the same price android also offers quite a bit

No 128gb option and the heavy weight just had me go for the SE no other option here as the 4a isn't available nearby and I don't want to import something without any support in my area.

Forgot to mention software support. I’d give up the newer design for a “classic” iPhone design I still think is pretty given the camera is great, the speakers are good, and it’s fairly well future proofed with a ridiculously powerful SoC and iOS update support for about 5-6 years I’d be surprised if the Samsung gets just one major update at that price.

Okay but my grandmother has that Samsung and it SERIOUSLY slows down once you start using it as a personal phone. Every time she makes me do something on it, I get frustrated because of how slow and laggy it is. It works well at first but over time there’s a noticeable decrease in quality

bruh, the iphone is a phone with flagship internals, the a01 is a budget phone that will work for 1-1.5 years after it is unusable.. compare that to the iphone and you’ll get around 4-5 years of updates
