Badfinger is a great band. Those 90's reissues are a treat with the bonus tracks EP. Another band that almost signed with Apple was 10cc, too bad they were rejected. Since you mentioned George Harrison's When We Was Fab in the begining, the fun fact is that Kevin Godley and Lol Creme directed that video. Thanks for the video!

Hi FBT, Ahh absolutely, Badfinger should have definitely gone on to much better things but sadly it wasn’t to be! 10cc were definitely a fabulous band and would have been a a great addition to the Apple catalogue. Oh yes, I forgot about that. Stay well!

Hello Sir I really love this album by Badfinger Out of all of their albums, I consider this one to be my second favorite and the songs that I mostly love from it are I Cant Take It, Without You and No matter What I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this, but every time that I listen to your videos, I learn something new and what I learned today from your video is that the name of the woman on the cover is Kathy Thank you very much for continuing to make awesome videos God bless you and I will hear you on the next one

Great presentation! I found an old copy of Rolling Stone magazine from 1970 that was my older sisters that proclaimed that "this album represents what the Beatles would have sounded like had they retained their initial formula"! I don't think it is completely true about No Dice as a whole but "No Matter What" certainly will always shine as a great early Beatles influenced track by Badfinger.

I wonder why this was not released until Early 1971 as the original UK release was on the same day as All Things Must Pass and then two weeks later both Plastic Ono Band LPs. Also released on the same day as No Dice was The Kinks album Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One.

Hi Dave, Hope you're well. I'm guessing people are in a sombre mood after what happened at Bournemouth beach in the week. It is sad that two kids with their lives in front of them lost theirs. Good records and 8 track of Badfinger No Dice album. I didn't know they wrote and recorded Without You before Harry Nilsson. I remember his version growing up in the 70s. My kids will know Mariah Carey doing the song more. Have a good couple of weeks. 🙂

A lot of people didn’t realise that Pete Ham and Tommy Evans write a classic song , Apple no doubt did well from the royalties thou! Have a great forthright!

I did read that it may have been his Girlfriend but he has reputedly said no in an interview!
