Playlist: • The Learning Company: ...
This is a continuation of a playthrough of games made by The Learning Company for the Apple II series computers.
I knuckled down and read the manual this time (as you might be able to tell from the notes and highlights). Also scanned through Part 1's footage to see what I might have accidentally skipped. Turns out it was quite a few.
I feel like since I'm only recording sound that comes out of my computer itself, this sort of thing needs some kind of auditory or visual feedback to let you know when I'm interacting with the program. I tried visual before (unrecorded), and it won't do any good because I'm using a custom keyboard layout, and it only shows the keys I press physically. So that might just thoroughly confuse since it would just be all sorts of nonsense. Plus, I think that would be more distracting and take away from the visual appeal. There's not so much audio to speak of in most Apple II games though, so I figure you can just mute it without losing much if you really don't care for it. :/
Anyways, I finish my playthrough of the game in this video, and I really think it's a quality piece of software they put out. Cheers to them.
