How is the comparison between the Sonos arc set up you have and the dual HomePods?

Thanks for the video~ been looking for content like this. Have you ever tried comparing the sound quality of the sonos soundbar stand alone vs 2 homepds? interesting to know the performance since they sit in closer price range, when apple tv is factored in, thanks

It's pretty great, you ask to wake up my children then make breakfast and if you have a tangled time at school if I understood correctly that's it❤

You can't, she was just guessing but Apple specifically indicates that theater mode with Apple TV is only made to gather 2 homepods for the TV and no more.

Just to clarify this, you can only set 2 homepods for a theater mode. You can't take a 3rd or 4th homepod for the TV. It's meant to work in a stereo way (despite the Atmos effect from the big Homepod)

Atmos isn’t ch specific what it basically is is dynamic stereo and dynamic surround sound that scales up or down depending on how many physical speakers there is! That’s why AirPods are just 2 but if you turn on Spatial Audio and watch an Apple TV or official Dolby atmos media it’ll make sounds sound like it’s coming around you even though obviously there’s only 2 speakers! The HomePod is harder do this trick with because you need a sweet spot and the room itself becomes a factor! But with AirPods no matter what you do your ears are the same distance and the sounds are going directly into your ears! What Apple needs to do is allow 4 HomePods to make 4 point to make a 360 dome around you! Sony ht h9 does this.

@@matthewburno Yes yes, I know, It's just that people must know that it's mandatory to set 2 homepods (as a stereo pair,that's how Apple names this setup, despite being able to enable Atmos sound). I recently bought an LG Soundbar S75Q and got a similar effect for 300€ so I can't complain, the effect is preety amazing. Even my bf, who isn't a techie guy and don't know completely understand about this, heard he Atmos demo from the soundbar and wowed at me hahahaha It was like, hey I want to show you how this really sounds. He sat on the sofa and got this condescendent face. Then the demo started and his face changed completely, and started looking up because he felt sounds from everywhere. Atmos, in a good enough system, is absolutely stunning 💖 I can't tell how it sounds from Homepods because it's almost 700€ here, compared to my chceaper soundbar, but if it works that well then it's absolutely worth it. In my setup I have no rear speakers and that's noticeable, is it the same with Homepods? Is there no rear sound too? It's just that I'll considder getting a pair in the future.

Hey I remember you! 😎 here’s my opinion. Sonos will give you that 5.1 experience thou Apple said it supports 5.1. I do not feel they are the same with just stereo. The price point is lower with a pair Apple HomePod and Apple TV. Has more smart features. It will be a great start for most!

I thought you were going to try just one homepod as a tv speaker. KZread is full of reviews with a stereo pair. For once it would be nice to hear someones opinion using just one.
