owned both and think that echo is better quality sound and deeper bass louder capability. Down side is that it almost never catches the microphone but that’s a side affect of the loudness I personally think. Vs the HomePod gets your voice across the room at medium volume so you make your own judgment with that. Smart speaker or loud smart speaker that only listens when it’s quiet ? 🤷🏽‍♂️ all in all choice is yours

Like the aesthetics of the HomePod but the Studios versatility wins it, both sound great but personally I like the deeper bass of the Studio. Not a fan of Apple Music either which you require to get spatial audio from the HomePod. Plus taking two speakers out of the newer HomePod is a bit of a downgrade and many reviewers actually prefer the original original over the newer model which should never be the case. Guess it’s a matter of taste but for me the Studio gets my vote

Did you tested both ones (the homepod and studio)? Have you still the same opinion? And is there any speaker that has a better sound quality for 250€?

Both seem to attract too much dust. How to keep them clean? The white especially look dirty fast even indoors. Also both too expensive Homepod more expensive than the apple tv is not logical.
