Thank you P1zaro! Between your video and DrJake’s from the UK, I was able to install the device easier than expected on my 2016 M6. I used a wire coat hanger to thread the wires from the left of the glove box to the back the center console, under the plastic trim in the passenger’s foot well; and instead of going higher by the right vent, I found a lower spot to thread the wires in that area. It worked great! Thanks again.

Thanks for the video! Helped a lot, and everything works perfectly! However when putting back the screen, I noticed it doesn't sit flush at the back, there is 5mm gap behind it, and not sure if was there before or not. However hard I push, it just doesn't go in more :/

Awesome man, I didn’t even know you can get apple play for the Mazda! Any downsides that you’ve seen from installing? I’ve read you need to plug in your phone via usb instead of Bluetooth to use it

Thanks !! No downsides except for that part. But honestly its not bad & i have seen adapters you can purchase that allow the carplay to work wirelessly. They just plug into the usb from what i saw But again having to plug in the phone to have maps, waze and music and many more apps show up including your text messages is a small price to pay lol !

Thanks for the video. Ihave watched it multiple times, please if you can answer 1 question. How did you remove Rear AC vents console? Is there any screw ? Or we just need to pull it with power? Please if you can provide some detail about this step. Thanks

My car does not have rear ac vents if you are referring to the vents on the rear of the middle console

will it work on a 2015 one?

What trim model do you have? I’m looking into a Mazda 6 from this gen and doing some research on which come with ACP and which don’t

@@P1zaro this was easier than installing Android auto/carplay on my girlfriends Honda. Thank you man, your instructions were clear as water and everything came out right in the first try because of it. Hardest part was the screw in the middle but it still Only took me 30 min to finish.🙌🙏

touchscreen is disabled in android auto. It's intentional.

Hi, I'm trying to follow your steps, but I'm stuck on removing the panel at 1:20 in your vid. I did remove all 5 screws & the plastic bit from above the odometer, but the panel won't budge no matter what. Any hints?

This kit I bought was for the 2018 and up. I have a friend who did his 2017 with a similar kit. You would have to buy a separate dongle that connects to the USB and makes it wireless

When I pulled the piece from under the vents and lifted up, it all came undone. It just snapped off
