Those deer see humans so much that they don't scare as easily

We had a huge fire last year called the Bolt fire which closed many roads to trailheads up in northern Washington. I did a hike through one of those trails a few months ago and it was very eerie. Just got a new pair of hiking boots myself. You guys rock. Love you sunshine, love you captain, Nan

A piece of a cooling towel is what i carried to dry my tent off. It is basically a swimmers shammy. You can also use it for washing off at streams!

I worked outside in the heat 2 summers in SC. It was brutal. Bought a cooling towel for my neck. It was awesome! It’s surprising how much they help in the heat! Glad Will got the cooling scarves for you!

I grew up picking wild blackberries. Last year, I discovered that the nearby trail that I hike is loaded with blackberry bushes! I was picking and eating them, while hiking! My hands were stained purple….😂❤️

The fire happened end of April- controlled burn that got out of control. I hiked out that way last week to do the ledges and I was surprised at how much new growth there is among the charred trees. It's amazing how resilient mother nature is. As are you two. Keep on hiking! Hope you're both doing well!

There are lots of blackberries, but I believe those in the video are wineberries. They will look like raspberries whenever they're ripe, but are so much better than black or raspberries.

Wine berries look like little rosebuds, then they open up when almost ripe. Definitely try them! We ate so many! Coming down Bear mountain there were a ton!
