You should do an update video to this, thoughts on the root tabs and how it helped or didn’t and if you noticed effects on the water

The Seachem Flourish root tabs worked great for me, alsoThe Seachem Flourish Advance in the water column.

Awesome vid. Just a note, when they say 30 square inches, that means like one tab every 5-6 inches (5×6=30)

I used 2 API root tabs in a heavily planted 33 gal with around 20 fish and 4 snails and 3 HOB filters (60gal filatration). Lost 1 Cory cat and 3 cherry barbs overnight. Didn't really NEED the tabs, just wanted it to blow up corkscrew val and amazon sword. I still use it, but HALF the recommended dosage spaced months apart. Every tank is different! Thanks for sharing.

Yes I know, these tabs are for root feeders. But will these tabs also work for collumn or water feeders also?

Did these tabs cause a layer of bubbles to rest on the top the next day ?

I've tried various root tabs from several manufacturers. I do prefer the Aquarium Co-Op root tabs.

What's your thoughts on resealing a tank that didn't leak?I bought a used 270g and was wondering if it's worth resealing it. How do you go about it?do you remove as much as possible or go wider than the old?

Is this safe for a fancy goldfish tank?

Wow that's some good plant growth buy you need to remember if the snails don't have any food to eat they will eat the leaves.

Do you put the tanks on the floor on wooden boards or what do you use under them?

I was hoping there was a trick you would show as to how to get them in before they melt....

I put them in after I drain the tank a bit for a water change. Less water to travel through, less dissolving.

The deeper substrate looks promising. Instead of root tabs or fertilizer, try tossing a small amount of crushed coral in along with a heavier bio load and more fish food. And add trumpet snails to process the waste and mix it into the substrate for the plants. No gravel vac or fertilizer required.👍

It adds slow release calcium and magnesium. The plants seem to do well with it.

Never used root tabs 30 years ago. No problems. However, I will try them just to see what happens. 👍

A surface skimmer would fix your duckweed problem fast. Just net as much out as you can before turning it on.

I think the plants look pretty good but I do not no much about them.

That dirt tank is fairly new and shouldn't need route tabs yet. Are you sure thats not emursed new plant die off

You should do a controlled experiment if you really want to find the best product. Take a couple plants that are in the same current condition, throw them in a terracotta pot with substrate, then put 1 tab of each brand in that pot with them and one pot with no tab. Put them in the same aquarium so they receive the same growing conditions and see what happens. PS love your content man, keep it up

Bruh if root tabs kill fish why use them? Some people said a few of their fish died

You need to restart the hobby. Just take out all the 10 aquariums , drain them and just keep one small Aquarium. Suits well and grows well.

Api is crap in plant life learn your stuff man
