That is a really good deal for an apartment close to Copenhagen 👍🏻 I pay about the same for my 65 square meters in Hillerød. That is including water and heating, but electricity is not included For that rent, I think I could live with those wardrobes... They sure aren't pretty tho 😉 Thank you for the video and best wishes

It is very cheap. Nowadays in Poland we need to pay more for such huge apartament. Typical 50sq m2 cost in total about 4000 pln which is now about 800 -850 euro. But such bigger will cost similarly i.e 5-6k pln i.e 1000-1100 eur. Buying also getting more expensive but still 2-2.5k euro/m2 is possible

I live in Bratislava and I pay 600€ for cca 62 m2 and its only bedroom, bathroom, little hallway which is connected to kitchen connected to living room + balcony, this is the most expensive city here, we have lower salaries than the west part of EU, but I think groceries have similar prices like in Germany (and they have 3x or more higher salaries) and also this rent is high because its not like 30% of my income or less, if I wouldnt live with my boyfriend then I couldnt live here and I'm a programmer :D so my salary is above average

I do not know about all the apps for buying and renting, but personally I like boligsiden.dk for buying. For renting I track many different sources. One of them is just multiple FB groups, another is home.dk, then I tried boligportal.dk but it seems that there are many fake apartments 🤷‍♀️

The "Kitchen" you pay for, is that to save up for renovations or paying for old ones? In my bill I pay for bathroom and a door - renovations that were done already. Also says the year when it's paid out and I'm done paying for it (or the next renters, I won't live here by then).

I honestly have no idea if it is for the future renovation or for already done. But it does not look like anything was renovated in this apartment 😅

@@girllovescoding I have checked and can say my bathroom will be paid off by 2045, and I think it's around 5 years old now. In the future they'll probably be wondering why they're paying for that old bathroom 😅 I think the old one before was original from 1953, definitely very old 😬

Alina, I live in UK, and I am Python Django developer. I'd like to relocate to Denmark, I am originally from Romania. Could you tell me please is it ok to speak English in Denmark? Danish seems for me difficult, not grammar, but pronunciation. Can I live in Denmark with fluent English without basic knowledge of Danish?

Minimum wage in Denmark - 18 euro per hour - the highest in the world. They do not have minimum wage formally, but this minimum wage in McDonalds in Denmark, set by union, which is considered as a minimum wage by everyone. But I do not know net one, it's gross amount. And social welfare is the best in Denmark. However Danish language is difficult to understand because it is not phonetical one

At 2:50 you said "this is toys for my cats, this is my plants" but both should be "these are" once it's plural... I do the same as you all the time - I did this Friday on a sprintreview for whole company 😔, it's hard for us who have English as second language... Nice apartment by the way, I live in the UK and I pay £725 for a similar size one in Solihull (near Birmingham, second largest city in England): large size, 3 rooms, nice kitchen, room, but yep, bad part is that it's a two levels, so there's a stair to go up... Do you consider buying your own?

You just ruined my deam of creating a channel about teaching English 😒 kidding. 😉 As long as people get what I mean I am good. Thanks for sharing your experience, I have always thought that on avarage apartments in the UK are more expensive than in Denmark. I plan to buy my own in the future, that is why I went with a cheaper option for rent to save some $$ Do you plan to buy?

@@girllovescoding yep, most of my time speaking English I'm monitoring "this is, these are, his, her, him, her" haha. Honestly I'm living here for almost 2y now (I'm originally from Brazil, but living here as EU citizen) and I already have enough credit score to do, to buy under a mortgage: but yep, I have two concerns, one is wheater (I'm a tropical person, hard to deal with UK grey skies, still struggling...). And secondly the war in Ukraine (and if I'm not wrong you are or have Ukrainian roots - I feel too much for your country): I don't know if this is the right moment to buy something, I don't know if the war will expand in Europe (hope not), I don't know how will be the world's economy, so I'm with "my ass against the wall"... Trying to not make big financial decisions right now...
