apartment hunting in seoul | one rooms, officetels, prices???
Hi friends! I went apartment hunting and it was pretty hard not going to lie. There are a large variety of places but I went too late (all the good, affordable places were taken by the time I got to Korea:( ). I did sign a lease and have moved in to my own place, so my effort was not wasted!

Hey! This came up for me as i am searching for my own place in a few months in seoul and its really helpful to see what to look for and what you can get for the price ranges too! Would love to see what you ended up choosing! Looking forward to more

thanks so much! price ranges definitely vary a lot even within seoul since there are more popular areas/places near universities. good luck to you:)
oooo i love the last one and #4 so much. #6 is also really nice. Whichever you chose will likely turn out really great :)

This is the first video I came across on your channel! This helped me a lot honestly. I think I have a better idea of what to look for. Wish me luck as I start my hunt in a few weeks :)

Hi! KZread suggested your channel to me and I think your vlogs are super cute! I just wanted to reach out and share that I'm an exchange student at Yonsei as well; I studied here in the Fall and this Spring I was hoping to make some new friends! I tried commenting on another video but it never appeared TT I know it's a little odd to share this in a public comment section but I didn't know what else to do ~~ I was hoping to connect with you and see if you were interested in meeting up ~~

@@homebodyhannah Thank you for responding :)) But I've tried commenting my insta handle a few times and those comments won't appear either TT Maybe KZread sees it as a potential scam and is filtering..?

Very informative, how were you able to find your realtor are their any apps you use to find your apartment or the ones you were looking at?

I either found a realtor near me on the Naver app or walked into any realtor office while walking around the area! I also used the "zigbang" app and "dabang" apps to find potential listings☺️
This was informative but I'm curious why you kept filming the floor? Was it a condition that the realtor implemented? Like you can only film each feature really quick but then you had to turn the camera back down? If it's for privacy reasons I understand since different realtors are ok with different things for various reasons. Were you forbidden from taking any wide shots of any of the rooms? It would have been nice to get a sense of the over-all size of each place but I understand if they wouldn't let you.

it was because I felt a little awkward trying to film+ the realtors were very rushed if that makes sense(?)😓 also because a lot of the apartments were so small it was hard to get a full frame shot without accidentally getting anyone else in the video😢
So the deposit on place #5 is $25k? Is that right? for a 1 year lease?
@homebodyhannah

yes! so in korea the deposit amounts tend to be pretty high but you get all the money back once your lease is over-- it was pretty steep for me but it's considered pretty normal here
Hello how did you find your agency? Do they speak english or do you speak Korean?
