My uncle owns the 조프로 감자탕 franchise. My cousin runs the one in 시흥 (Siheung). Make sure to check it out sometime and tell them that 창준 (Chang Jun) or Frank recommended it to you!
I'm moving to Korea after high school with my bf. I'm so thankful he speaks Korean. His mom and dad live in Gyeonggi. I'm nervous because it going to be a huge change but I'm all for it. Edit: We broke up. He cheated on me and was abusive. I still keeping in touch with his mom and dad. I’ll be Joining the US Marines though

Thank you sm 🥺 I’ll look more into your videos and maybe I’ll ask for your help if I need to know something more 🫶💜
For Americans 750Kwon is 560$ which is an amazing deal . I was living in Vegas and I was paying 4 times that amount .
Congrats on your new apartment! I have been watching you since this whole Korea journey and it's so nice to see you grow :) have a great day ♥

Should be very careful signing short-term leases in korea though. They're not protected by renters right's laws and the landlord can increase the price by any amount after the initial contract date has passed. I found this out the hard way. If you do this kind of 단기임대 (short term lease) be very very careful. It's usually very predatory towards younger people and foreigners. 월세 has a higher deposit, usually starts around 5mil won, but you're guaranteed a constant rent fee, the deposit is guaranteed and protected by law, and the landlord can't just kick you out like they can with short term lease.
Leaving everything aside.... She is soooooo pretty...
I liked 1 and 3 the best, I agree, newer is a lot better (usually😬)!
The apartaments are so beautiful! Delia, could you make videos showing spring in Seoul? It's the most beautiful season

Aww okie I’ll keep that in mind! ☺️
I’ve always been curious about renting in Korea and how the deposit works since in the US it’s different.. from k dramas I know a little bit and from what you’re explaining it kinda matches up. What I’m wondering is if you do get your deposit back usually in full at the end of your term since it’s a big deposit and if not in full how much usually when leaving if you left in in good condition. I know the use you usually never get 100% back and more so like 50-75% usually because the standard clean up fees and replacement fee but also the US deposit is a lot less. Apts usually range anywhere from $0 deposit or like a couple hundred as a move in promo. I read some one else’s comment here saying that out of the let’s say 10 million won deposit you mentioned that’s like split up into your rent and that’s why it’s only like 500 usd is because of this. You should definitely do a video that goes into that a little more. If that’s true and the lease is let’s say a year then rent is actually 500 USD ish + the 10 mil won/12 months is really how much you pay monthly then? Also what about when the years overs then if that’s the case and your deposit is depleted? How does the rent increase look like? Thanks!! I will never live there just because it’s not somewhere that’s on my list where it would make sense for me but I’ve always found this. Intriguing is like how renting works in Korea. Thanks!
It is a really good apartment~!🎉

Hi Delia, hope you are doing well Could you tell me the location of the apartment number 4? Maybe if they have a website or any contact so I can look into booking this That will be my go-to apartment upon my arrival in Korea. Also great video very informative. Keep up the good content. Love from UK.
Hey hey, great video detailing the renting process in Korea! Wanted to ask if you could tell me the name/ location of the 4th apartment building with the shared housing apartment? I’m really interested in a place like that when i go back to Korea! :)
wow... a big step for someone living alone....congratulations! you should feel very proud and I look forward to seeing you settle in your new place. Did you mention why you are moving?....closer to work? ARMY grandma

Aww thank you 🥺 hope this video was helpful!
CONGRATS!!! can i ask for the contact or any information about apartment #4? i want to visit korea for a few months before deciding to stay or not.
Were there any issues getting a move-in report (Jonip Singoseo) from your landlord? I'll be moving to Seoul at the top of the year and know I'll need this document to get my foreigner registration card.
❤ home sweet home ❤
Can you share maybe a site or name for apartment 4? It would be perfect for me
What was the “intricate” part of the contract?
Can I ask what is the name of the last coliving space you showed? Thankss
I'm curious from searching for an apartment to moving in how long does the process typically take? I plan to move to Seoul and want to know how much time I should give myself to find/move in to a place. Thanks!

Tbh it moves really fast. You can sign the lease almost immediately and move in as soon as the room is available. If you’re not that picky it can take a week to two weeks for finding apart -> move in
Hi:) I just moved to Korea and I've been looking for apartments but they're…well not very pretty haha Do you perhaps still have the contact for the agent who helped you find these places?
Do you have a building/company name or any other info for the 4th apartment building? It's amazing! Trying to find something like that for moving!

how do i find shared hosuing?
Hello, could you please share with me the contact of the realtor that helped you? I'm actually moving to Seoul this year in the next 2-3 months for my UG degree and I will be moving into an apartment in the 2nd semester so I needed some English-speaking realtor's contact who could help me find affordable apartments. I would really appreciate it if you can help me out with the realtor's contact because I have the same exact requirements as you and I believe the realtor will be of great help.
What is an Arasi?
Can you please share the name of the realtor?

Renting an apartment, let alone a goddamn one room is absolutely outlandish in Korea. Who the fuck has 10mil won just lying around, especially by Korean wage standards.
Good Morning 🌄! God bless you! Wishing you the very best!! 🙏♥️💯. God bless everyone who reads this and love you all: make sure you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour everyone! He is coming soon! Accept and believe in Jesus Christ! John 3:16, Revelation 20:15, 1 Corrinthians 15 1-4 and Romans 10 9 and 10
2:56 Really? This much for basically a shoebox? Do you know how much money is actually worth? I say that as someone who owns a whole building. See, this is why proper math and economics classes are more important than ever. Edit: For those of you who do not know (yet): A deposit is three month's worth of rent, so her monthly rent is actually 3.33 million South Korean Won. Which, once converted, yields 2.555 US Dollars or 2.322 Euros a month. Damn, the longer I watch, the more I grow concerned for you, especially considering the "wear and tear" in the second apartment. At best, your realtor just wants to rob you. Red flags everywhere. Seoul is expensive, but not in the way he is showing you.

What?? No idea where you’re getting this 3 months thing from? That’s not how renting and deposits work in Korea. In Korea you pay a high deposit (which you get back in full at the end of the contract) and your monthly rent is lower the bigger your deposit is. You can pay upwards of 100milllion in a deposit to get a super low rent. A 10million deposit with 730,000 a month rent is very normal and actually a great deal in Seoul. So her rent is actually 730,000 a month (about 560 dollars).
I read that as “Apartment HAUNTING” annnnnd was super intrigued then super confused… then realized what it really said… but stayed till the end. 🤍🤍🤍🤘🏼
