There must be a hidden cave system that the old Indians knew about that the Calvary didn't... Maybe a cave system... Maybe lost treasure

It's so amazing how many stories have come out of that small part of Arizona. Thanks for doing your part of keeping these stories around . I'm sure 1000 years from now , there will be a way of going back and viewing these very videos . I'm sure it will need to be converted into whatever crazy tech we have then. Either way this is a documentation of stories of our past. even if some of it didn't happen exactly as the actual event took place. Long way of saying , thanks for what you do.

John Bolton There is more to this story and the dates range from 1866 to 1877, I’m trying to find the guy that had the brass to determine a closer date. We may do a follow up if we can.

great story,,please keep them coming,,, i was told for a while the 50-70 was still used after the 45-70 came out,, also if any 45 long colt casings were found with the old style balloon head brass,, that could very likely be the real thing, for that time period,,,

The brass could not really prove anything the Indians used any gun they had access to unless he found piles of them in like 10-15 differing locations indicating a soldiers fighting position 2-3 places could be an Indian or two with a captured rifle.

Rebecca Swilling The Apache Tears caves are closed, the tears at the Leap site is fenced off to the public. The only other place is owned by a company that uses the material for road construction. So no, there is no place left that the public can dig for them.

In 1871 the standard army was .50-70 Govt. How long before the new .45-70 Govt displaced the older cartridge. IDK. But as long as they had .50-70 Govt ammo it wouldn’t be wasted. The Army during the Indian Wars would pass out free rifles and ammo to settlers. So they’d protect themselves

Should be the true version vs the cover up version . I mean come on. Didn't even check for bones themselves. Didn't even mention the story probably lived on through the apache that were left lucky to get away. I hear just a one sided cover up story. There's a az explorer who does a way better job on the matter. Tryna find him on social media he even has a book of all these cool historical events.

Unfortunately it looks like another case of slandering the white man with a convenient story. I doubt numerous Apache's would jump to their death instead of going to a reservation in the early 70s that they knew they could escape from.
