I don't understand AO at all. Like why did that one girl turn into sand? Eureka Seven was confusing, but AO was just random. I didn't get it at all. What even happened. And why was everything so boring 24/7. Why did I subject myself to that. Why am I asking you all of these questions!? MERMAID MAN, WHERE ARE YOU?

@Meh meth The show's creators have stated that AO takes place on an alternate Earth. The second Hi-Evolution movie reconfirms this when it presents the events from the original TV series, New Order manga, New Wave/Vision video games, Pocketful of Rainbows, AO TV series, and AO ONA as alternate universes.

nightrale814 The “Girl that turned into sand” was a hallucination of the pop singer, Miller generated by the Secrets that got into Ao & Elena’s bloodstreams. Since Ao & Elena are young kids that have breathed Trapar particles since they were little, that makes them more subject to hallucinations if they inhaled the Secrets that were in the Scub/Dust storm. The show explains this pretty explicitly. 2 year later explanation. But an explanation nonetheless.

大橋彩香ほぼデビュー作なのに新人離れした演技。棒姫みたいな演技だったらここまで人気でなかっただろう。
クォーツを持ってしまった時点で悲劇？の始まり。
Is this the sequal to Eureka Seven or something?
