Exciting.

I got one of these quite a long time ago, it was okay for a few months, then decided to kill itself on a 22 hour print. It happened right at the onset of Covid in China and I couldn't get parts for it. When I finally found a few things that could work, it was slowly rebuilt, but I've not have much luck replacing the hotend. After going full resin since then, I'm thinking about rebuilding the Pred once again, and for the life of me, I can't remember much of the specs on the electrical system. I'll be checking out your build series to see what I can pick up, and have a slew of hotends from 2020ish but suspect they're not the right voltage.

just make sure the hotend is 24v, the predator is a good printer once you add klipper and some cooling. Mitsubishi on my discord is modding this right now

I'll have a look at that pretty soon here. Just started dusting it off today and unearthing old parts. Evidently I picked up a BMG extruder and what looks like a Mosquito-esque hotend at some point, but evidently it didn't fit, or I ran into not having a 2nd printer at the time to make parts. As luck would have it, the screen on my resin printer just went out last night. Sigh, the gods are angry! @@Rolohaun

Why are you still using blue tape. We figured out hairspray so long ago.

Thanks so much for this series! I'm so sick of using th SD card, hehe. Do you know if the SKR 3.0 would work for this as well? I am very interested in upgrading to Klipper and being able to integrate with a pi.

SKR 3 should work as well, most mainboards should be fine

You also know you can run more than one printer on one raspberry pi right?

yes, however I prefer using a old laptop to run multiple printers, much faster and better wifi

you want to put Klipper on it or a different effector hotend?

@@Rolohaun Both. There is an super racer based effector I found and also want to add a rapido. Also not having the filament run from the top of the machine through a long Bowden isn’t helpful. While also doing a different firmware.
