Are you worried about the back draft from not sealing the rear entrance with duct tape? Im in the same predicament and kinda want to either remove the fan casing and tape it up nicely or cut drywall from the back and the duct to seal from the back.

Thank you for a great installation video. It was hard for me to find any rear venting hood installation videos. For top venting option, it seems they seal between adapter and duct with an aluminum tape and it seems that's not possible for rear venting. Was just curious. I'm planning on installing the same hood and will need to use rear venting option. Thanks again.

WHATS WITH THE MUSIC WANT TO HEAR WHAT IS BEING SAID

This is wrong way as there should be vent duct must attached from rear hood back side goes through wall and to be connected with outside vent duct
