By his sheer age and just how much older he is then them, Anu is almost definitely the root of all 3 of them. Sumerian religion seems to be the first we've found as of yet bar the earliest tree and rock worship.

The Mesopotamian pantheon has been both fascinating and confusing. Some sources describe Anu as the primary progenitor and all-father. I've also seen a couple sources, referencing Hurrian myth, that show Alalu as the progenitor, whilst Anu remains as a primary ruler. Doesn't help that this all relates to a set of myths that potentially predate Greek mythology.

Well that's to be expected when the Middle East was divided into many competing nations. Assirians favored Anu as supreme deity, Babylonians preferred Ishtar/Innana, the Jews worshipped Elohim/Yahweh. It's no wonder some nations highlighted one god over another. It wasn't politheism once the Babylonians came in, it was henotheism.

Subsequently, it was a great idea to continue with Middle Eastern religion and Mythology, given their relation to Christian lore. These two videos go hand-in-hand greatly.

Thank you for your reply and further information on this. I am still searching for any written report mentioning this. I have researched the lineage but do not find much about the hierarchy above Anu or if there are higher venerations.

How about one about Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca the two supreme gods of Mexican Mithology

The Annunaki was not one race it was four races that came down to visit the Sumerians, it is true one of the races was looking for gold and started digging for it. The humans and the four races got along and shared many things with each other, but the good fortune would not last for the humans. The particular race that was digging for gold was known as the Draco, a few years into the digg the Draco's owen race refuse to dig any further. Creating a dilemma for the Draco so the Draco secretly started a laboratory known to us as the Garden of Eden. For many years the dracos performed experiments on the humans trying to create the perfect slave that would digg for them. This very much upset the other three races when they finally found out. You are wrong. YHWH created man and the fallen angels corrupted the DNA. The Draco aren't the gods, they are the serpent in the Garden. When Eve ate of the tree her immortal genes started degenerating. Humans were created immortal and perfect, apointed as the rulers of creation, but because of their transgression they fell and are reserved unto the Day of Judgment.

A close friend of mine told me that over twenty five years ago. He has a degree in history. His cousin told me that he was talking about this stuff in the late 1950s. Now I know race does not matter. We don't need to be at each other's throats. even though I will post a comment here and there about my beliefs, it's more about getting seeds out there. it's up to the individual if they water them or not. I'm still a amateur on my road to God and definitely don't feel it's my place to force my faith on someone else plus it never ends well and usually pushes the person further away. Back in those days those who called themselves God are what today is called a countries leader such as a president for example. Even today if you are against your leader you get removed from the equation. After thousands of years nothing has changed at all, the only thing that has changed is how powers that be gets the world to perceive.

@@BiblicalCosmo As do the stories of the Sumerian Pantheon (as far as we know). It predates the Bible so would it be out of the question to suggest that book may based on this older, more ancient Religion. Especially considering the clear similarities between the two.
