The movie constantly bashes the colony and promotes individualism, but the ants ability to operate as a collective is exactly what makes them one of the most successful species on the planet. Humans as well, it's only when we work in unison toward a great purpose we see empires rise and rockets sent to the moon. If every person just lived solely to chase dopamine their entire lives the species as a whole would degenerate. Truth is, you and I will live and die and in the grand scheme of things, we won't matter. Like the unknown billions before us. It's the survival of the species that matters.

I agree with you, but not the survival of the species. The survival of my race is what matters to me, to make a great society once again.
