I think Antonio Pierce is a great choice for this, he's got a much different attitude towards being the coach than i think weve seen recently. One of the reasons Rich Bissacia did well as the Interim HC was because he listened to the players after everything that happened. It sounds like Pierce has a similar approach and the right mindset to, at the very least, make this team competitive

Watching the highlights from this last game, my husband and I were beside ourselves with disappointment and frustration. I LITERALLY told my hubby, "we need a new coach!! Something is not right! These guys don't play with passion anymore!" Then I heard what JJ8 said in the locker room, and that sealed it for me.. It was absolutely WILD to me how my prayers were answered only a day later! And I'm sure many others' prayers. And now, finding out that Antonio Pierce is from Compton 🎉🎉🎉 omg this is what we need!! These two guys will bring us back!!!🙏 Raider Nation, baby!!!🖤🩶🖤🩶

I remember Mark Davis saying that in his first owner press conference.

I already love the new HC and the energy and enthusiasm he brings to the table. Why didn’t MD release that other dude earlier? As I remember MD even told fans to “smarten up” … finally MD has smartened up. RN let’s gooooooo
