I absolutely love Anton a true gentleman, always treated his celebrities as if they were the best dancer on the show and he will be missed as a pro. However really happy to see him as a judge because you know he'll be fair but seeing the positives of everything as well.

This is such a great way to honor the last of the original pros who were there since the beginning. Anton has certainly had such eventful years. 😅

I miss the days of Arlene. The best judges and the kindest pro's. Karen and Mark, Denise and Ian, Jill and Darren....and ofcourse, the incomparable Anton.

Ah I wish Anton was still dancing. He was wonderful to watch.

Covid Strictly is not as good as traditional Strictly, it definitely needs a full audience for atmosphere plus all the dancers and contestants mingling upstairs was great, really miss that

@@SheilaTitchener I don’t really know anyone in it anymore (they try bring in CBBC presenters/KZread’rs. to appeal to young people, but I know the older people more lol) but they grow on you

i do really miss when all the dancers would stand upstairs, and when theyd all join in on every couples last dance. But covid strictly has definitely got better production value, and i mean theyre the first strictly seasons to include same sex couples dancing which means so much to me (a young lesbian who dances) i cant even put it into words. I love some of the new pros as well, like Dianne. But i do miss the full audience, as well as Len and ofc Bruce. basically theres good and bad in both "eras" of strictly, but each have their respective charm

I LOVED Strictly last year. The couples were brilliant and we had some funny moments all round. AJ and Kai were particularly brilliant…I think it was TREMENDOUS!

Aww, I'm really going to miss Anton as a dancer. His dance would honestly be the highlight of my night, it would either go really bad or really good 😂. In both cases, it was really entertaining to watch. If only he won 🥺. Good luck with judging Anton ❤️

I love Anton and will miss him dancing. Suave, debonair, a wonderful dancer/choreographer and brilliant comedy timing. Speaking of which - where was Ann Widdecombe in this montage? Maybe needs a whole episode! He didn’t get a fair crack of the whip with partners but got the best out of them where others might not have done. Wish he’d got the glitterball at least once. 🕺🏻❤️

Definitely. I don’t remember them giving 8s and 9s first/second week last year. Although I think in the case of AJ, she totally deserved those in week 1. Brilliant. Was getting vibes of Alex Burke’s jive to Tina Turner in the 2017 final

@@oliviadaly4795 I think it isn’t judges being more generous but instead the professionals are trying harder to prepare before the contest even official begins etc. Before celebrities took it less seriously and tried their best on the show without worrying about spending ages pre strictly to prepare.

Yeah, right... SCD had winners who were as old or even older than Anton's partners. The thing is, while a terrific ballroom dancer, Anton is a terrible teacher, and this video is another proof. He keeps his partners happy and entertained but does not teach them well.

@@zxaddictxz so you’re glossing over the time he got in the final and came in 2nd with Emma Barton? Or when he came in 3rd with Lesley Garrett & 4th with Laila Rouass? I think it’s cos he’s been on the show so long they always gave him dancers they expected to not be great But he’s a great dancer in himself
