She obviously worked closely with him, until his retirement from the show when Claudia took over. What a way to pay tribute to the man himself. Well done to the Strictly professionals for putting on what was a fitting tribute to Sir Bruce! Sir Brucie, keeeeeeep dancing in heaven!

I don’t rlly like Tess daly but I actually felt sorry for her. I wanted to reach out to give her a hug. Her partner for about 13 years has just passed and she is just a trooper. RIP Bruce

If you look at Anton's face you could tell that he was still finding it hard too. I went to his tour and he said that it was an honour to work with him and he was a very close friend. I remember he sang Me and My Shadow at the tour, which was a song he sang with Brucie on Strictly.

My grandfather died a couple of weeks after Bruce, as I was watching Strictly I said to my mum 'Where's Bruce?' And she replied 'with Grandad'. My heart broke into a million pieces.

David Wilson No I am not. I'm just a normal 22 year old who doesn't like it when an extremely talented man gets insulted with false and hurtful claims by an idiot like YOU. Bruce was only a few days younger than my late grandad, and I actually think it's great that someone of their age can still do a job like Bruce's. To think that you take joy in saying things like that in a memorial performance that's been specially choreographed by the Strictly Come Dancing pros for him is just awful. 😠😢

I'm proud of Anton for staying so strong throughout that dance. He'd lost someone who was both an idol and his friend, which must have his hard for him.

RIP Brucie, you will be sorely missed.

To be almost 90 years of age and he was still dancing and singing.

Sir Bruce Forsyth, Legend. He will be sorely missed- i can't even imagine how his family, and the older pros, judges and Tess and claudia are feeling. Anton must be so torn up, they had a father son relationship- and as i said, his family. and US. gosh. i'm crying. everyone's crying.

Strictly was such a huge part of my childhood. So privileged to have witnessed his talents, even in the twilight of his impressive career. Such a treasure. Thank you Sir Brucie.

Wow. Just watched this back and actually have tears down my face! Doesn't feel like 3 years!!

Loved that routine at the end, pure class, and a very special group "pose" in tribute had me in tears. Tess was too, I think, and well done Claudia for putting a supportive arm around her. Great stuff.

I was sobbing last night when I saw it first, now I'm sobbing again. They did such a beautiful job with it and Bruce will be so missed.

Brice Forsyth you were and are a legend of tv. I grew up watching you on the generation game, play your cards right and so many other programmes like millions of others. It was a travesty that it took so long for you to receive a knighthood. I'm not sure if any other entertainer was such an all round entertainer and a gentleman at the same time. May you rest in peace sir, you will be missed.

Bruce was an incredible man. It still breaks my heart to think that he's really gone. please excuse me while I dry my eyes.

One year on and it still hurts. RIP Brucie, yours was a rare and special kind of talent.

One of the very few all-round entertainers - the professional who just kept on giving his all, right until the end. I remember watching him on The Generation Game as a kid, he had that certain spark and one that people won’t forget.

Brucie was my hero. I first saw him when I was about 6 on Play Your Cards Right and I'd never seen anything like him before. He was so effortless and yet so obviously talented at everything he did. I one day dream of becoming a TV presenter because of Bruce and if i could have a fraction of the talent, humour, charm and brilliance he had I'd be delighted.

My grandfather died the same day as him and this song was played at his funeral. It was emotional watching this live, miss them both.

I've watched strictly for years and years Sir Bruse was and will always me a LEGEND in everything he has done and no one will ever top him... rest in peace you brilliant man xx

I always loved Brucie. To me he is really what a manager / supervisor at work SHOULD be. He's a total professional, warm, funny, but no question that He's In Charge. ..... I am not being flippant, I genuinely mean it he has Great Leadership personality traits.

One of the few people that actually deserved the title SIR...he worked so incredibly hard to entertain or maybe it was God given talent? it just flowed......I remember him at Sunday night at the London Palladium when I was a lad. ,without him it wouldn't have been half as good, so funny and in complete control..
