I remember how I wished I could dance like that and with a partner like Anton. I always used to vote for Anton, regardless of who he danced with until he was out - he was so charming, a delight to watch. After that it was just anyone I thought was best at the time. Pity Dereham and Bartok didn't win the Glitterball, they were so close and I voted for them all the way when Anton danced with them.

See, I think viewers have forgotten that the reason Anton is still on strictly is becuase he has genuine talent. Not mentioning all the comps he and Erin have won but his ballroom is just amazingly good! I just suppose it’s harder to notice how good someone is at ballroom when they make it look this easy. People always seem to mention how ‘awful’ his Latin is, which in fairness doesn’t compare to his ballroom but isn’t anywhere near as terrible as people make out! He is a fabulously talented ballroom dancer and I think SCD viewers need to appreciate this more.

Watching them again and I can honestly say no one can waltz as good as Anton or Erin ,

I've met Anton and Erin 4 times now and they are so lovely (it's what you get when you stalk the stage door after their tour, they are happy to chat to you for ages!). I'm going to see them for the fifth time now - I'm hoping that they're not beginning to think we're obsessed...

They look so great together. Fantastic couple.

I love Anton and Erin - I've seen them twice in concert now, and I'm hoping to see them for a third time in February 2017, and I've stood by the stage door with my sister without a coat for about half an hour and gotten very cold so I can wait to get their autographs and get pictures with them, and they chatted to me and my sister for ages! So if you are fans of Anton and Erin and are happy to spend a lot of money on tickets and are happy to freeze by the concert stage door, then they are more than happy to hang around and talk to you!

I am not ashamed to admit these things: 1) Me and my sister are going to see Anton and Erin for the 7th time in 2020. 2) In 2020 we are going to meet them for the sixth time because we go to the stage door after their concerts. 3) Me and my sister have queued all the way down the street without coats before just to meet them. 4) We always wait at the back of the queue just so we can chat to them properly. 5) We have ducked out of the queue repeatedly about 3 times before just so we can wait at the back and chat to them. 6) They are my idols because as a fellow ballroom dancer, I would love to dance like them. 7) Erin now remembers my name without asking me because she sees my tweets to her so much. 8) Last time I met her, she saw me and my sister, and the first thing she did was point at us over the crowd and say to Anton "Yeah, those two girls there." She then said to us both "Don't look so scared girls, you're not in trouble!" I was stood there trying to hide behind my sister thinking "Really, because I am so scared I want to run down the street and hide behind the corner!!!".

So happy Anton is finally becoming a judge on strictly! He’s magnificent!

Such a talented couple. I actually forgot where I was when I was watching it. Ann Widdecombe said that the thing she loved about Anton was that he showed how much he loved to dance. Him and Erin have amazing chemistry when they are doing solo ballroom dancing.

Because of this clip, I really want to learn ballroom dance, whereas in the past I didn't like ballroom dance because of the highly formal technical aspect. I really hope that one day that I could dance as well as Anton.... So that I could dance well with my prospective girl at any occassion, may it be either under the Eiffel tower in Paris, France or in a quiet corner of Botanical gardens of Singapore....

@tanidn Ballroom dancing is absolutely amazing. Trust me, it is an amazing feeling to just practice the dancing, never mind actually performing it. It is great fun and just magical when performing it all.

@Brainiac12000 I'm currently taking ballroom dance class, and whenever I start to practice the waltz. I feel as though I've been transported to a happy place, and I was so into it, even my practicing dance partner couldn't help but smile very happily throughout the practice. The only ballroom dance style that I have difficulty practicing is Tango. Its really frustrating....

Mr Ballroom and the beautiful Erin. Such a dreamy waltz to a classic song. This is the old strictly! the class just isn't there anymore. Gone are the group dances and the real characters. Just faceless boring woke zombies. BBC needs to realise this is not a millennial type show ... Will always be Grandma and Grandad watching with the grandkids over a cuddle and a mince pie. Bring back the theatre drama and glamour. Stop trying to force wokism on us.

@tanidn It is brilliant, some are more difficult than others like the Tango, but the other ones are great. Do you do Latin American dances too?

@Brainiac12000 I had taken basic Latin Ballroom dance class before, I'm currently learning to dance on-1 salsa close to a year and I've started to take bachatta classes too...

@@robertmirabelli163 it was made famous by Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. It is the theme from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Erin’s dress is a tribute to the one worn in the opening scenes by Miss Hepburn.

Can anyone tell me the steps in these waltz? I am not sure what the first turns are named so as to search for instructional videos. (We want to make this our wedding dance in 1 week) Many thanks!

Its chassays nd pivots they are doing. If you goolge Karen and Marcus Hilton beginners waltz on you tube, you will find lots of instruction to learn the steps amongst many other professionals teaching the waltz. You can also google ballroom genie which also shows the steps to learn basics. Hope that helps you.

Erin retired from SCD when her son was born. She will not be able to return as a professional dancer as this is a 7 day a week job and often the professional is required to stay out of London to train their partners. She still partners Anton at various venues and they both have a theatre show from January - March travelling throughout the UK. Maybe one day she can return to SCD in a different role.

The pros tend to dance different ballroom and latin American routines together on Strictly Come Dancing. As kind of demo dances.

I so enjoyed the dancing; however, in my opinion (& I am always right LOL) "Moon River" should never be sung by a female - it needs a masculine voice.

You do know that Audrey Hepburn first sang it in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" long before Andy Williams adopted it as his signature tune, right?
