Rare antique rusty switchblade knife restoration.
This knife was found in the forest. Knife in the form of a wolf. The blade and button of the knife were very rusty. I decided to restore this rusty knife. I removed the rust and made a new button and spring for the knife. I hope you liked my restoration.

Looks that knife took quite a beating over the years it'll probably look way better when it's fully restored a lot better than it did
love this work, I also want to restore things, its good for the environment and prevents waste Could you maybe give some tips or steps on how to restore things? I have a rough overview about the single steps but I think a guide from an expert would be very helpful, especially when it comes to tools a beginner must have. люблю цю роботу, я також хочу реставрувати речі, це добре для навколишнього середовища та запобігає відходам. Hi! Thank you! I started with minimal tools. If you restore knives, you need a grinder, a polishing tool, and also a very useful tool - Multi-Tool Dremel. I have a DREMEL 4250 model.

It's always better to keep the original blade unless the blade is in too bad of a shape then make a new one but only then if the blade is fine then don't worry about it if it's not then replace it
