Genuinely don’t find the wheel videos boring. It’s pleasant to see that somebody with so many cars and so much on their plate is still able to be pedantic about the smaller details in everything.

I don't mind the wheel videos either... I've learned a lot over the years of just watching this channel about wheel fitment...

No explanation required. It’s nice to see the business manic. The 13 staff earning a living is something to be very proud of. And as a bonus, we get to see petrolheads doing what we love to see. Keep on keeping on fella 😎👌🏻👏🏻

Phil dont be sorry about the videos you post. Its your channel, post what you want. Love whatever you post and technical stuff. You still one of the last automotive channels that still relate to us enthusiasts. Wish i could support you guys more by buying merch but the shipping to Australia is a killer.

Phil your knowledge on wheel fitment & stance is god tier, people don't understand what it takes to fit aggressive wheels nicely and still be driveable. The GT3 looks INCREIBLE

Fronts look massively better now. And I would love to adapt that exact steering wheel to my clownshoe. You could machine 1-2mm off from the back of the wheel centers, so that they would sit just that small amount more in. I dont think the wheel strenght can be affected too much if only that little is taken away. Pockets might need to be deepened that much too to clear the bolts that keep brake disk on. OR shorten those bolts too. ps. wrap those grey seat ”ears” in carbon or cover them with black alcantara or get them flocked, imho either of those would look better than painting them same color as the cage, but that would look funky as well. Anything is better than the stock gray, never liked that in those particular seats.

I like the idea of things on the same parallel sharing a color, door handles, harness holes, steering wheel accents in this situation. It sounds like you're committed to the satin and that's a nice look too. I just pulled some 235/40s off my 10j wheels, was a pretty mean stretch lol.

I have 245s on 9.5j and it has the smallest amount of stretch. 255s on a 10j would be perfect if it fits under the arch

Yeah, they are supposed to have a sealing ring but those tend to leak. Most people driving these motorsport wheels on the street put a bead of sealant. The GT3 is looking great!

I saw a picture of that LFA next to a riviera blue GT3 but I didn't realise it was yours! Goddamn, I wish I'd gone to that C&M event, I'm so local to it but didn't know it was on! 😢 I thought the same, how the front lips look a bit weird, since the lip sits more inboard than the spokes but, as always, your perfectionism has brought perfection! 👌

I have the standard exhaust on the car at the moment as I sold the Kline inconel exhaust, but I have a plan in my head for something cool.

@@driftworks oh no! I loved that exhaust (ok the tips were just a tad long) but that sound! You’re gonna have your work cut out replicating that symphony! Waiting for you to design an exhaust for the 997.2 turbo like you did with the M3, soul performance or AWE are the only main contenders but they are crazy expensive! Looking forward to seeing the replacement on the GT3!

Watched your wheel videos for years, still dont understand how you get your cars sitting so low but clearing not just on the road but on track. Proper voodoo/witchcraft to me in a similar line to car electronics.

You can do all the work in the world and it wont matter... Changing the steering wheel makes the car I swear!!!

It's a single taper so the torque is affected by the weight of the car.

I've always disliked the conical shape of aftermarket BBS lips used to make up the tire diameter. I prefer the square shape/shoulder of the BBS style 5 lips and barrels, but never seen them in larger than 17" diameter.

This is a limitation of the 18" centres and step up 19" lips and barrels on these particular BBS.
