Thank you so much for not overstating what the cancer institute has said about the compound. Its very refreshing to see it said to be just possible help and a good addition to a diet rather than "you will die by 30 of every disease if you dont eat this" like it usually is online these days

Its important to also remember that everyones susceptibility to cancer is varied and even though you add superfoods like tumeric to your diet, it doesn't grant you full immunity to cancer - its a good thing to add to your diet but don't expect the benefits to pile up against cancer. I say this because my mother used to add tumeric as well as consume many other superfoods in her lifetime but still developed cancer. She used to have the mindset that healthy foods will prevent cancer and keep you safe, and it does, but its different for everyone.

As much as I appreciate this vdo and educating ppl about the benefits of curcumin naturally available in turmeric, I don't think it's okay to just add the word 'Curried' bcoz it has turmeric and then, appropriate it with an Asian cuisine category called Curry. I don't understand why use the word Curry just bcoz it has turmeric. In India, there are 100s of curries out of which many don't even use turmeric. Not sure if the west knows that there's something called Curry Leaves that form a major component of many of the curry-based dishes (not all). And Not everything yellow is 'Curry'. Otherwise, great content!

@shhh_itsmegs You're welcome! It's also worth noting that adding a fat source (preferably a good one like extra virgin olive oil, high in mono-unsaturated fats) helps too. The heat really activates the curcumin, in fact traditionally in Indian cuisine they would "bloom" the turmeric, which is where they literally just heat the spice and the oil together for like 30 seconds before adding anything else 😁
