No one is talking about the ICON model. It's been consistently predicting Houston for the past week.

The comparison of Beryl with Harvey is encouraging. The fact that it won't be jammed in by three High pressures is reassuring for those of us in Harris County. But I still think we may get a direct hit, or at the very least be on the extreme dirty side of the storm.

Same thing happened in 2005 for Hurricane Rita. She was supposed to hit Corpus, then Houston but ended up going straight north to the Tex/La border.

Houston may not get the direct hit for winds, but it's going to be on the dirty side for the rain

I'll take the rain..just not the winds that cause power issues here in the Coastal Bend

I'm concerned it WILL go thru south Texas. Once it's past corpus and goes north east I'm good
