When he was defeated by Usyk , instead of giving Aj unflinching support , many Nigerians turned their back on him & making sarcastic mockery . Many yrs ago , he wanted to represent Nigeria in the Olympics boxing , he was turned town , that yrs , he represented Britain & he got them a Gold Medal . Let Aj have peace pls !

That's lame to say, when he lose most people both Nigerians UK and USA respectively troll him, but few persons supported him still , infact most Nigeria blogs and celebrities encourage and support him so he shouldn't be childish by saying shit he should just apologize and admit he forgot to appreciate his people

@finarrsorkeh5538 That's not true. I saw more troils and bantering from Nigerians rather than support when he lost to Usyk. Some even made comic videos slaggering AJ. However, the amount of disrespect he'd before the fight from Cameroonian and British media was way too much than the credits he's got after the fight. BBC made a documentary by visiting Ngannou's home town and Skysport had 37% KO in favour of Francis compared to 36% KO to AJ.

Inspite of the huge support Nigerians gave him in his early fights, how many lifes has he touched in Nigeria even as he earned so much money, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic? The world hears of the likes of Sadio Mane improving people's lives in their communities back home . Although he worked for his money and no one can dictate how he spends it, some of these things sometimes matter in people's perception and assessment of an achiever.. Who knows, the champion might be involved in charity back without making it public. All said, I believe Nigerians are proud of him.

he shouted out london which is enough for me and he shouted out cameroon fans for coming all the way to support their boy francis, he dont need to shout out nigeria or the whole uk or his grandma as its already implied

If he likes he can mention any country he likes that does not make him a British man or those countries he mentioned. He is naturally a Nigerian from Yoruba land . His mother and father are all Yorubas. He is a British on paper. He should just focus on his career. We are solidly behind him. I think what Nigerians did was a wake up call for him and he did wake up. So he shouldn't take it so hard on Nigerians because we learn from criticism. I think what Nigerians did to him made him to go back to the drawing board and start all over again and today he is doing very well.
