Lua, great meeting you in Chicago! Reminder about our girl Neera, give possibility storm a look in there. Remember to resolve Neera’s trigger first so the tuck happens and possibility storm doesn’t require the card to be in exile still for the ability to resolve. Keep spreading the good word of our pink hair queen.

My post-edh meal is too much breakfast. Me and my friends all worked odd schedules and had every other Friday night off, so that's when we would get together and we would play magic for 8 hours straight then go to our local restaurant at 6 am and each order like 2 full breakfasts, eat in complete silence, then pass out. 10/10.

I've gotten to the point I have about 27 decks at the time. And I feel so bad about taking them apart. But I've built, just this year alone... like 234 decks. Lol I have a problem...

I seriously considered getting a tattoo, I did not get one, I think it was probably a good choice, I'm not a great canvas unfortunately, and my weight has fluctuated a lot during my adulthood, so they'd almost certainly have distortion issues. I've always like a really well thought out bit of ink, but bad work is so sad to see, it's rarely all that cheap and it's neither painless nor instant. I find it hilarious when people go for the try-hard Commanders, I like to play jankier options to make the wins more satisfying. Not going to lie, I like the idea of Gladiator, but I still want to use a Legends beater as the 'face' of the deck, it helps with Roleplay elements. It's gotten to the point where I have extensive (and very made up) canon for some of these decks, but it can make them a lot more fun to play. How many Commander decks is a really tough call, but I think people should make a rule and try to stick to it (until they want to make a new rule haha). I ended up with too many, but they're pretty varied in terms of play experience. Many of them are definitely not trying to do the most optimal thing you can do with the Commander, but some were designed with winning explicitly in mind. My problem is I like too many different archetypes, and I need different decks to scratch those itches. The decks I most enjoy playing tend to be grindier, but they also tend to be absurd, I've found a real happy place in forcing people to use their removal on something they would have told you before the game wouldn't be worth removing (like, ever), something like a Gorilla Shaman or a Banshee, the key is that they can shut down certain decks' ability to progress for relatively little resources, yet is perfectly easy to remove. Naturally it shouldn't matter to use a removal spell, but most decks don't run enough, and this will mean an even better bad creature will sneak through later. I don't mind if games take a lot of turns, I just don't like those turns taking terribly long individually, the game needs to keep moving along.

It would be cool to see a deck tech on the thematic decks you were thinking of. I think one of the funniest ones I have heard of is a NSFW deck. That runs all the classic naughty art from magic. Ya I'm looking at YOU earthbind you dirty dirty card 🫣
