In my opinion the devs must have thought "well who cares at this point, who would ever click that npc 16 times". 18 years later:

They will not fix anything in the special edition, if anything, we might find even more bugs.

I think so too. They will most likely don't touch anything from the original game and just transfer it over to a newer engine or something. Same thing happened with the Tomb Raider remaster where all the bugs from the original game got carried over

This. It's a lazy port with emulator features and new music. Nothing will be patched, before or after release.

Surprised this hasn't been found sooner, considering how people love talking to Yan!

I might have a glitch that I don't know if people know. If you have the green hair and parasol, and you at the end of watch tower at the bottom of the rope, you can jump next to the wall on the left of the rope and use the tornado, and you will end up at the top.

MAN all of this has me BEGGING for a Tomba 3! (As long as the original key people are working on it)

Man my heart cannot take so much Tomba content in so little time. Incredible!

Well there was one small extra one tweeted yesterday about dying on the ol pond but that's minor

I guess it remains to be seen if it end ups being a Glitchy or Glitchfree Special Edition

I didn't know Tomba had that simple Now Loading screen between sections in the japanese version.
