It would be almost silly if he threw on gloves and started a Floyd Mayweather routine, lol. Even his physique looks great for crying out loud, the dude is almost perfect. I poke fun at my closest friends, it’s a sign of endearment where I’m from. Lol I'm actually glad you guys had the balls to comment on it. That was my IMMEDIATE first thought when I saw the video the first time as well. The song is sick, the whole video is sick, he's sick (in more ways than one), and he for sure gets a pass on the boxing form. But all that being said it definitely throws you off a little when that hook drops and so does his.

Lol, that’s hilarious! I must’ve missed that in the live! Reminds me of something that happened to my husband at work last year (he was working undercover, he’s a cop). They’d been following a guy for weeks and ended up having to arrest him in a public place. The guy started going off, screaming and shouting, he was struggling and shouting for help. A couple of members of the public called 999 to report a kidnap, and a couple more tried to intervene, despite being told it was a police op 😂. The response cops that showed up tried to arrest my husband and his coworker! 😂

When the camera pans from inside to outside of the car a white car appears parked up on the right side of the road. That's the only cut I picked up on and it's a shame about the continuity error.

I like that the killing/violent lyrics are fitting for the character he's playing in the video clip, they fit what they're intended for, not just street cred/shock value like I've seen in other rap vids. I've seen from other comments that the kidnapped guy is the one who was tied up in Animal Flow, this vid was filmed before AF.

i've heard ren can only eat organic beef and a few veggies. also, "wearing clothes from oxfam" = US salvation army store, charity shop. great reaction, guys. much love, kathleen

Yeah no mushie peas for him, legumes are topping out the MCAS foods. No fish or chips or battered sausages or vinegar; all of these are a no-go for people with MCAS. I'm just about to start a low histamine diet, and don't know how to survive in it, other than that continuing with normal food is likely to lead to anaphylaxis and death. 😰

Regarding the boxing, it's just for the video and he's not focused. Putting the gloves on himself, then quickly having to take them off before stepping through the window, miming the lyrics, getting everything right on the timing and hitting all the marks in a one take video. Who knows how many takes they did...just sayin' 😁

Fun reaction! I think Ren said something about being in the gym 6 days a week before he got ill. And considering he is going through a heavier stage of treatment, he may also be bulking up so he has a good foundation if this current stage leads to muscle wasting, you know?

Ok so...When he says, "King punk, the precision it hits like Stallone". Stallones new show is called Tulsa King. I think you guys will dig his song 'Diazepam'. Part of his back catalogue that you should definitely keep diving into and it's a different vibe to his more recent stuff. Another band to check out is The Heavy. I'd recommend 'Can't Play Dead' or 'How You Like Me Now?' as songs to start with. Or maybe a bit of an older band to check out is Skindred for something completely different, if you're not familiar with them. They're kind of a reggae/rock/metal fusion and a good song to start with is 'Pressure'.

I think it's been confirmed that chronologically this precedes Animal Flow, so the dude snatched here is the chained up one in that.

This is a great track the hook stays with you. The video leaves you wanting to know what happens next,cliffhanger.

Not quite, Ren's saying that you can wrtie a song about murdering people and it's not flagged by big brother, but if write a song containing the word sui*cide it's got warnings and sh*t plastered all over it. The hypocrisy is what he is showing. He says that himself Thats why he did this song, and blo*dy good it is too. Ren wouldn't mock any rappers, just not him. He has a massive love of all music, and massive respect for it, and shows it with the references, and to Hip Hop culture, and MC/Rappers too. Like someone in the Army deployed. Things that you would never do at home is what you do for fun over there. Reading, writing, learning to punch lol, but gym most of all. Setting matters a lot when getting in shape. So him being in Canada for treatments. I’m willing to bet. His days are treatment, writing music, & the gym. Depending on how long he is there. He probably going to get cut.

There is a story to this.

I think this song is also a reaction to Su!c!de. How a song trying to connect and shine light on a serious subject for people that needs to be seen gets blocked, take down threats, censorship and trigger warnings. Yet a song called MURDERER singing about actually lining people against a wall and shooting them(obviously we know he doesn't mean it that way.) but just straight forward looking at lyrics.....and it doesn't get so much as a violence warning.
